Bought this camera to replace an old snapshot camera. Really like this one! Great photos. Takes pictures quickly so you don't lose that special shot. Good quality too. Telephoto works great and is intuitive. Pull the lever toward you to get closer to your subject, push to decrease. Takes video too although I haven't used it for that yet. Lightweight, slim and compact. Great all around snapshot camera!

This is a great little camera. Light weight, very easy to use and takes beautiful pictures. I like having a camera separate from my cell phone. Had a Cannon camera a long time ago that was great, this one is even better.

Santa bought this for my train-mad 13-yr-old who wanted a good quality camera to fit his tripod while on locomotive filing expeditions. So far it’s been perfect, excellent video and still image quality, simple to use. My wife and I had an older but similar Powershot we had for years and were very happy with, so this was chosen because of that. It was a Christmas gift so early days, but so far so good. My only two observations, not really criticisms, the camera could have used a user manual in the box instead of making you download one; and the battery sometimes needs some manipulation for a snug fit. Other than that 100pc!

This one replaced a similar one that I had that finally gave up the ghost. This is very simple to use and so far have had no problems with it. I don't plan on taking videos with it so not concerned about what some reviewers have said about the camera stopping and then having to restart it.

This camera is a good size for travel and activities. It fits easily into a pocket, small purse, etc. It sits easily in the hand during use. It takes good quality pictures. The auto focus works well if you remember to wait the second it takes to focus. It works well in a variety of light settings. It has taken several great sunset/sunrise at sea photos. It is easy to recharge. The only criticism is that the zoom dial moves a bit too freely making it tricky sometimes to find the view you want.

Love my canon - this takes great pictures, easy to move to your computer to get pictures off, no issues with zoom, focus or battery... Small and easy to carry. I have had these in the past and you can't go wrong with this camera.
