My camera broke on me on my second day. When i went to use the camera the second day it would not open the shutter more then 1/3 of the way. I have a 2 yr warrenty that i got with the camera as extra protection since i was going on a trip. I am thankful i have that because i still need to get it fixed. I am highly DISSATISFIED that this product did not get to be used more than 30 minutes of the duration of my 5 day trip. I never had an issue with a camera before till this. I used the camera the first day. The zoom i loved. I liked the lightness of the camera as well. While on my trip i kept it IN its box and the bubblewrap when i had it with me without the box. I made sure the camera would not get bumped or scratched and still managed for it to break on me. When i went to use it the second day is when i realized the shutter would not open all the way. I tried everything i could think (restarting, taking the battery out) of with no success to fix the problem. I viewed my photos on the camera the first night I used it with no issues. This issue frustrated me for the rest of my trip and left me at a burden because this camera was my means to take photographs while on a trip with my father. This really makes me question if ANY canon camera is worth it and i am tempted to go back and ask for my money back knowing this camera seems to be poorly made.

The focus has been it's undoing so far ! It is very unpredictable .. About one out of three shots coms out in fair focus, while the rest are at about 90%. In two weeks of ownership it has stopped transferring images to my computer two times and then after much fiddleing around with settings, cable connections, cable replacements,, etc. it has restarted . So far I have been unsuccessful in tracing the culprit ! I'm not happy with my purchase , but it's a 120 mile round trip in bad weather and I'm 87 years old. I THINK THIS WAS A BAD BUY ! Bruce B.

I use this camera for work and this one was an upgrade from the last two I purchased. All in all I've tried at least a half a dozen or more of these cameras thinking this One is a lemon. Although I am rough on it, right out of the box 30% of the photos you'll take are not in focus. Even with a fresh battery sometimes it takes quite a while to recover when using the flash. If you want speed and quality this camera is not for you. This Appears to be common with all of the lower to mid range Canon products. I'm sure Canon knows these issues exist and would love for you to buy a $700-$1000 camera although they should fix these issues if they want to stay in the market with the common user.

Bought this one to replace an older model which gave us many years of good service. Unfortunately, some older features have been dropped like deleting all unprotected photos on the SD card. The auto focus feature is also intermittent and can only be "fixed" by turning the camera off and on. Too late to return it to bb so I'll have to take it up with Cannon.

This camera replaced what was basically the same model Canon that had scratches on the lense. Figured it would work as well. Steps to P modes are lengthy and not conducive to rapid shooting. I'd return it but it's too late. I suppose if all you want to do is shoot Auto everything it would be ok. Would recommend a model with more robust functionality.

My older canon camera recently broke so I bought this one to replace it. I feel that camera manufacturers don’t put a lot of effort into making great cameras these days because of smart phones. Such a shame.the image quality is poor and the cam feels cheap.

THE CAMERA SHAKE IS HORRIBLE ON THIS CAMERA. I'VE RESEARCHED ONLINE AND FIDDLED WITH THE SETTINGS TO SEE IF I COULD FIX THE PROBLEM. NO LUCK. IT'S VERY FRUSTRATING. I AM AN AMATURE PHOTOGRAPHER, BUT IT SHOULDN'T BE SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE A DECENT PHOTO. I AM GOING TO TRY TO RETURN IT.

I have the older version of this camera so that is why I bought this. The reviews I read mentioned a focus problem and yes it does have one. Annoyying at times when it happens so that's why I gave it 2 stars, otherwise it is a nice camera.

Purchased this camera for some basic pictures to be taken of properties. The photos were always fuzzy, blurry or noisy. Tried using it in both auto and program mode but always ended up with lousy pictures.

I was really disappointed in this camera. It doesn't take really good pictures and to hard to understand how to do things with it.

This camera was so slow I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believer that Canon would associate it's name with something so mediocre. I ended up returning it.

I chose this camera based on reviews. I really need to stop doing that. The pictures are blurry and sometimes grainy. Outdoor pictures are better it's still not what I expected for $127.

Blurry Photo's often. I sometimes take 50 photo's a day. It may be the screen on the camera is not high quality and it mostly looks like blurry photo's.
