This is an excellent camera for the price! I was looking to upgrade my old camera which was a Canon PowerShot Elph 310 but didn't want to spend too much money. In my opinion Canon cameras are the best! They hold up really good and take awesome pictures! I highly recommend this to anybody wanting a high quality camera with an expensive cost. I go to a lot of concerts and this takes really good pictures. The zoom is awesome too!

This is an excellent product if you want a camera that fits in the pocket, has a good range of features but is simple to use. Picture results are very good. Like most cameras of this type it goes through battery life fairly quickly, so have a spare battery on hand.

Plenty of functions, if only I could remember how to get to them. In fairness, I often shoot in challenging light conditions. I find that I get into modes, sometimes after great trial-and-error, and then can't easily get out of them...I was on "tulip" for quite awhile and it worked pretty well for non tulip (macro) situations, Of course, the SLR styles are easier to adjust because they have more classic film-type controls.
Currently I'm in a mode where to review pictures I get a little image with a lot of information. When I hit "zoom" I go past the full frame into a cropped mode. I shot some natural light full moon shots, but almost none came out. If I could figure out the "P" menu, I probably could do better. I'm also in an odd "focus/exposure" mode that I'd just as soon not be in. When everything's right, it takes great shots. It's small and easily fits in a shirt or pants pocket.
I like the thing, but will probably never "get-it" consistently...

Great Travel Camera

I bought this for my husband's birthday...thought it would make a great small camera to take on travel vacations. We just came back from a 15 day Med. cruise and it was just what he needed! It fit in a pocket, took great pictures, was easy to charge and he didn't need to take his large camera bag, lenses etc. Canon does it right whatever style you are looking for!

I bought this as a gift for my 87 yo father. He is pretty computer savy but both of us are having a hard time getting a wifi connection to his computer. I am going back to the store to have someone explain the setup top me so he can send the beautiful pictures the camera takes. It is easy to use. He had an older Cannon and the batteries always were dead! Love the camera but frustrated by the set up.

Decent Camera for Beginner

I bought this camera because I did not want to lug my Canon dslr around Italy and looked for something small and compact that would still take great photos. After reading reviews and considering price, I chose this Canon point & shoot. It is easy to use and takes decent photos. The only downside was that the photos were a little grainy and not as clear as I would have hoped, but it still did the trick. I did love the Wi-Fi feature though... I could take photos and send them wirelessly to my phone to share with friends & family. Overall, if you are looking for a point & shoot for beginners, this would be a good buy.

Great camera! Takes sharp photos and is simple to use. Fits nicely into a small carrying case or your pocketbook. Stores lots of photos that can be used in a digital photo frame. Also looks very modern and is easy to store or manipulate for traveling.

Camera is easy to use. Great zoom and auto focus. Picture quality is excellent, even at low light levels. Major criticism is very limited battery life and long recharging cycles.

I bought this for my wife. She says "Very easy to use to take pictures and video. The size is ideal for a pocket camera, as is the quality of the picture for a pocket camera. I am a camera neophyte - most of my prior pictures turned out blurry. Not so much with this camera. I ended up taking very marvelous pictures, even by my husband's standards. Wi-Fi is very difficult to set up and use - I wish it was easier. If I had to buy again, I would have chosen one without Wi-Fi (to save $) because I couldn't use it on my own. Otherwise, I was pleased with the selection."

I just use this as a regular point & shoot camera for vacation or events. Works fine, photos are clear, easy to use. All I need for just everyday events.
Also very slim so I can take it in a small purse and would be fine in jeans pocket.

I mainly bought this camera because my aunt had gotten one for Christmas and I saw what good quality pictures it took. Ultimately though I bought it because it was a lot smaller than the camera I had and it was a lot easier to take with me. While I sometimes have trouble using the WI Fi to transfer pictures wirelessly and have to use the manual to figure it out I've been nothing but happy with this camera and really like the quality or the pictures it takes.

Needed a basic point and shoot camera after previous one was ruined on honeymoon. The person who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and pointed me to the Canon - PowerShot ELPH 350 HS 20.2-Megapixel Digital Camera in black. For what I need it for, works great. Takes nice pictures, syncs with my computer easily, and I would recommend for anyone who just needs a normal camera that produces pictures at a higher resolution than an iPhone.
