    Very compact and light for traveling the only thing is that it is slow when you want to take multiple shots

    My daughter wanted a camera for her birthday. Having always used film, then digital (DSLR) for many years, finding something that wasn't intimidating for her proved a challenge. This was a perfect fit. I am most familiar with the Canon family so this was a perfect option for me to guide her with. It's a great little camera and we LOVE that it has WIFI options.

    this is the 3rd one of the PowerShots I've had. 2nd one was an upgrade and this new is a replacement for the last one that I dropped and got dust inside the lens. It's my fault it broke--it lasted through numerous of my other drops but they finally took their tools Love this camera!
