I'm using this model camera for work purposes and have recently gotten my wife one for herself as well. Aside from their easy of use they are proving to be durable as well. Excellent quality pictures every time. Best option I have found for a point and shoot camera.

Bought this for my teenage daughter who has an interest in photography. She found it simple and easy to use right out of the box. Pictures are very good.

I purchased the Powershot as a partial replacement for my Canon Rebel in hopes of not having to carry 2 lenses and swap them out. The Powershot SX530 does do that and is much lighter! Great camera for travelling! It's light, easy to use, takes great, clear pictures and has an amazing zoom. The expected downside to the Rebel for zoom (obviously digital vs optical) is the sensitivity to shake and keeping subject in sight. I have not yet mastered some of the features to assist with this. Although for a trip like an African safari, I'm not ready to leave my Rebel at home but I am very happy with the PowerShot SX530!

Had this camera for 6 months. I use this for my vlogs and taking pictures with it auto settings. It has 50 times zoom which is great for taking pictures of the moon. I recommend it for beginners to use and adjust to camera usage.

Usually I just use my phone to take picture but since my kids are getting older and getting more involved in sports, plays, etc. The phone camera wasn't doing the job. I did do some research online and narrowed it down to a couple. The best buy associate helped me and recommended this one. Was not disappointed. Camera works wonderful. The zoom is great and can get great picures of my kids. Would highly recommend this camera.

This is a great camera for "first timers." You can't beat the price and it takes good quality pictures. I LOVE the wifi feature that allows me to transfer the photos to my phone. Although it is a little tricky to setup and get done.

I bought this camera for my wife. She loves how it's easy to use, but still has some features you can play with if you're just above a beginner level.

I really like shape of this camera. Yes it is bigger than the Elph series, but is easier to hold when your taking a picture and the bigger buttons are easier to manipulate. The directions were clear, making it easy to transfer the pictures from the camera to my Apple phone and to edit the pictures before transfer. I gave this camera 4 stars because of the location of the button you push to take movies and the flash you have to manually open. Overall, easy to use and good pictures for the price paid for the camera.

Bought this camera only a few weeks before a big trip and I took amazing pictures! It has great focusing abilities and images are sharp. I liked the weight of the camera and how it fit my hand -- easy to hold onto. Overall, it's a great camera for the middle of the road picture taker.
