This is my second Powershot, I only upgraded because of zoom levels. My first still works great too. This one is phenomenal! The zoom is incredible, the pictures sharp and crystal clear. I can't wait to go more places to try it out in more situations other than just local ( family events and the zoo have been the main so far).

The camera was a good camera. Easy to use function. Overall quality of the pictures were good. The only thing I did not like about it I couldn't get a wide shot.

I love this camera, even though I have yet to learn all there is to know about it. There is so much it can do compared to my old camera. (My previous camera was the Sony FD97 that uses floppy disks and memory cards.) It is amazing how well the zoom works and the many options there are. The zoom was the major reason that I purchased this Canon and it did not disappoint.

When you know the limitations of the camera and lens this is a very capable. Zoom ability is excellent and is amazing for traveling.

We are looking forward to a road trip soon and hopefully a lot of wildlife. We have been practicing with the birds and such out back and we are very pleased with the telephoto!

bought for my son's wedding. took great pix. some issues with low light but may just be my inexperience with the camera

Recently upgraded to this from the SH50 mostly for the wireless download capabilities. The 50 was a great camera and this one is just BETTER? I have talked numerous friends into the older one and ALL of them absolutely love them. Flawless and easy and the ZOOM will blow you away, all from one lens, AWESOME!!

At 75 , I owned several Nikon film cameras, even a Coolpix 5600, and went to Olympus four thirds DSLRs at the onset due to price and weight. This camera is infinitely superior to those. It is versatile, travel friendly, simple to operate, with operator modes for the experienced, and takes pictures that only a semi pro/pro could criticize. Buy it! P.S. See dpreview for tests

Bought this camera for to achieve a dream and fulfilled just two weeks after the purchase. I’ve always wanted a camera as beautiful and sophisticated. It is easy to use and set up, I love the all función where I can take a picture with my camera, go to the app and download it directly to my phone. It’s the best purchase by far, thank you!

Great camera for the price! So easy to use and pictures have great quality!

Using SX60 HS for 7 weeks. Easy to use for photos, either single shot or rapid. Shooting videos also easy, but sometimes the focus will blur momentarily (It never happened with my old SX150 IS). The battery it came with lasts about 1.5 hr when shooting video. I got it to be able to use an external microphone (still shopping for that) so looking forward to that. Very good camera.

The Canon PowerShot SX60HS camera is a step up from my last camera. The Canon has several features, but lacks the IR Mode for a wireless shutter remote. I love the sport and the continuous shooting options for fast moving subjects, and the photos are sharp. Unfortunately, during movie filming, camera and zoom sounds record as well. All in all, it a great camera for an amateur photographer.
