I had the prior version and like this camera. The best feature is that you can turn the viewer around and take a selfie and actually see the picture. The worst feature is that it doesn't take good pictures at night.

I love my powershot camera. I'm a professional photographer and having a powershot allows me to do other things that my canon rebel does not. It takes amazing shots of the moon. So amazing you can see the craters in the moon

Even though iPhones take great photos, I wanted a camera with more versatility, especially more zoom for a trip to Italy. Just got back and was really pleased with the camera. It was a nice size for travel, didn't have to bring extra lenses as a SLR requires and took really nice photos. The wifi is a bit tricky; the manual could use more in depth instructions. It connected with my iPad, but I still can't get it to connect with my iPhone 6.

Regrettably, advancing age required this transition as toting around a DSLR, lenses and accessories became a bit too much. I've found the PowerShot to be an adequate compromise of convenience vs. image quality.

Best bridge camera I have ever used. Much better than the Panasonic and Nikon bridge cameras I have had. Nice feel and weight. Captures images in raw mode. Hot shoe for external flash is a plus

This camera was recommended by a friend in the marketing business. It has turned out to be beyond my expectations, being able to do either wide angle or 65X telephoto shots without having to change lens.

Just point and shoot, and the pictures were amazing! Took the camera on our trip to Germany, and got some great shots of all the castles and beautiful scenery. Would recommend this camera highly!

Has many great features which make this one of the best bridge cameras on the market. 1: A hot shoe suitable for a flash, or, for my needs, an external shotgun mic for better sound when shooting video. 2: Stereo input for external mic 3: Ultra high def video recording. It also has some drawbacks: 1: Battery life in video recording mode is less than 1 hour. One can purchase an adapter to power the camera from a wall outlet, but that is an additional expense. 2: No lens hood. One has to pay extra for a lens hood. And like the AC adapter, it can only be ordered from Canon. It isn't available through Best Buy. 3: One also has to purchase a special adapter from Canon to use any filters. I'd still recommend this camera, but cannot give it an outstanding rating.

The SX60 is much improved over the SX50 in 2 ways important to me: it focuses more easily and quickly, making it easier to focus on an object behind foreground clutter--tho not perfect, of course, and operates faster. It does not eliminate the delay in taking a photo, but it shortens it. I am very happy with this upgrade.

This camera overall is good; my main complaint is that it doesn't have all of the features one would expect to find in this type of camera. I am having trouble with the manual settings and fear that I may need to return it. I would recommend thoroughly researching and trying out this camera in person before purchasing.

Due to a lot of rain and dark skies, I haven't been able to put this camera through all the paces yet. I am impressed with what I have been able to test; zoom capability, menu setup, ergonomics, etc. Once the sun comes out again, I'll be able to update my review.

Canon has great products and great quality. I would recommend this camera to beginner and seasoned photographers.

On vacation and have been using my camera for an extreme amount of outdoor photos. It is remarkable. The zoom is fantastic!! Unable to download pictures at this time. Sorry!

Bought this for our trip to Africa and it took stunning closeups of all the animals we spotted. We had several people remark about how well the zoom worked.

This camera provides great value for the price. The picture quality is as good as can be expected and it is a workhorse. We use them to take 300-500 shots per day in our business and they have performed well.

I love this camera. Takes excellent pictures very clear and detailed. My pictures of the moon are close and very detailed. Very pleased with this camera.

Each model just gets better. I had the SX40 for years and the pictures were dynamic. With this model, clarity much improved even with the max zoom. Highly recommended product.

This camera does everything I wanted it to do from taking a photo of a bee on a flower to the craters on the moon. I have a lot more to learn but am using it almost every day.
