As a casual user with a new Grandchild I was looking for a camera to take quality pictures with minimal set up time. This camera has been very easy to get used to and taking pictures is quick and easy and the quality is great. The zoom is super. I haven't used the video function yet but it looks to be as easy as taking pictures. I am very happy with the camera.

I love eveything about this camera the focus and the clear pictures that it takes. I love that you can change the settings to sports and the zoom is pretty decent and I really need it since I have kids that play soccer.

This is my first camera that is not a look and shoot. It's been fun playing around with all the capabilities of this camera. I'm a bit disappointed with pics I've taken in the sports mode. Not sure if it's me or the camera with pics not being in focus. The zoom is great. Love taking pics of all the birds I have in my yard.

I've had other Canons but have had the same one for the last 7 years. It still works very well, but I wanted an upgrade. I have not been disappointed! The Powershot SX60 is very easy to use even if you haven't had a Canon previously, the zoom is amazing, the pictures are clear and crisp, and the creative shot feature and creative filters are a lot of fun to use. There are many more features of this camera that make it a great choice!

I bought the Canon Powershot SX60HS about six months ago. It took a while to get used to it, but now I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I was initially disappointed in some of the color not being vivid, but I think the colors are natural. The zoom is incredible, but, again, it takes a while to learn to hold the camera steady at the maximum zoom. I purchased a monopod, but only use it occasionally. The camera also takes great macro pictures. On the auto mode, the camera chooses where to focus. Most of the time, that is OK, but, if you want more control, use the "P" mode to focus on one object. When paired with a smart phone (I have an iPhone 6), you can add location information to the pictures which I find very useful. You have to remember to track each time. The camera does have a lot of modes that I think are unnecessary, but I just don't use them. Overall, if you are looking for a long zoom camera that a is relatively easy to operate, I think you will be happy with this model.

This camera was recommended to me by an avid photographer. I usually use my iPhone but was traveling for a month in Europe and wanted more memory. It was easy to use(mostly on auto) and took great pictures. It was nice to be able to zoom in and out.

So much to learn but what I've photographed so far is crisp and clear and the color is excellent. The zoom works well and is what I was looking for in a long zoom all in one camera.

I was looking for a camera that was not too large or heavy to take on vacation. My requirements were: that the lens could take both close up and long distance photos (not wanting to carry extra lenses), that it had a rechargeable battery, that it took quality photos and was easy to use. This camera has exceeded my expectation in this area. Uploading the photos is quite complicated so I use my SIM card cord to upload....much faster.

My previous Sure Shot is just too light. It jiggles when I shoot photos. This camera is solid, it's easier to hold steady. So far I like the photos, though I'm just getting started. I want to be sure of it's uses before I take it on vacation.

Always looking for a camera that can bring in the subject even closer than before. This model works great, although, I'm still learning some of the features and where to find the old ones. Not sure why they changed the basic controls for things like shutter delay, but they did. Reviews say it is not a good low light camera and they are probably right, but I did get several good shots of the recent lunar eclipse...and a lot of bad ones. Summary: good for distance shots, OK for low light and it's a Canon, which I love.

Purchased to take pictures for my mother, now residing in a nursing home., Wanted a high quality camera comparable to my camera. This is my upgrade to my canon power shot sx50. couldn't be happier.
