I upgraded from the 30. Fantastic improvements to a great camera

I bought this camera for a cruise to the South Pacific where I knew I would want good zoom capability. The camera delivered and was easy to use. Only negative thing is that I wish it had more pixels as when I enlarged the photos it got quite grainy.

Great camera to use and super photos. Great to shot video....

Had this camera only a couple of days, but Canon has made improvements compared to the prior model. Example: Longer and wider Zoom. A little more detail. Better viewfinder options. But, they also took things away: some "creative" modes, panorama stitching. I guess there is only so much firmware space to be had. I'm still going to keep it.

nice camera, easy to carry around point and shoot like it

Most of the things I didn't like about the SX50 have been corrected in the SX60, and the additional zoom range is the icing on the cake.

I bought this camera for its extended zoom capabilities. I was going on an Alaskan cruise and didn't want to miss anything. This camera was great! I have fabulous close-up shots of bears eating salmon, Eagles way up high in trees, and calving glaciers. Water that looked like thin white lines going down a mountain was transformed into a raging waterfall through the lens of my camera. I highly recommend reading the manual before using the camera. I learned a lot from it. Great camera!

Our family camera died, and we searched the web for a reasonably-priced replacement. We bought this one because of its ease of use, amazing telephoto lens, and compact size. We have used it for a few months now and have been very pleased with its performance.

We purchased this camera at our local Best Buy on Sunday 10/19. The optical 65x zoom works great for taking pictures from a distance. So far everything is working fine. We would recommend this camera to others.

I upgraded from the previous SX50 model which I loved. This is even better and the zoom is fantastic. Great for nature shots as well as kids athletic games shot from the bleachers.

Solid camera with lots of nice features. Articulating LCD is nice for self timer photos and wifi is nice for sharing photos. Definitely need a tripod when zooming to 60X optical zoom to maintain focus. Overall, pictures are crisp and clean.

I love the quality of the photos I'm getting. The lens was quickly scratched, but Best Buy promptly fixed it, and I've bought filters to help protect the lens in the future. This is easy to use and has some great features.

The zoom is fantastic. Still surprisingly user friendly. Love it takes up to 128 gb memory card. Still learning the newer features, but so excited that Canon never disappoints me!!
