i caved in and bought an actual cam

But a few months ago I went to a convention and recorded video and took pics with said phone. Suffice to say close ups of the videos looked horrible. So, I caved in and bought the PowerShot SX610 HS after looking up great reviews for it. I've yet to use the camera, but i'm expecting great results for when i use it in October.

Canon Sx610

I use a camera almost daily for documenting building inspections, and it gets heavy use. My most recent Panasonic camera was somewhat fragile and only lasted 12 months. So far the Canon Sx610 has performed well and appears to be sturdier than the Panasonic. The features work well with my type of use and the wireless feature is very helpful.
