For more money I expected a better point and shoot than the one I bought 3 years ago. It can't handle indoor gymnasiums and cloudy outside shots. Probably returning.

Recommended by best buy sales person and the item did not work. I am very dissatisfied and wasted my money. I will not shop at Best Buy again.

Although it's a great camera to take with you when traveling, within a week, the camera dropped and now doesn't work.

I spent an entire day trying to set my camera up for use, it's been almost a month and it's still not set up!

Easy to use as a point and shoot. Screen has some difficulty showing the image when turned vertical.

I purchased this camera for my 83 year old mother, who wanted to have the capability to upload photos to Facebook. It was incredibly complicated, and my boyfriend and I both tried to set it up for her, but it was so frustrating that we wound up returning the product.

On the first use the lens would not close all the way, had to return it. May get another, could be that I had to be the lucky one to get a faulty one, on the other hand, pictures came out nice and sharp. The camera body seems sturdy

On the Best Buy site the Camera is stated to work with both Windows and Linux which is good as half of my computers are Linux. The bad part is the camera is not for me and it was for my daughter which uses Windows 10. When you unbox and you are setting it up and you are wondering why you cannot download the Canon software if you are running Windows 10 this is the problem. I like all the features of the camera and I am sure that Canon is more than likely working on a solution. I may keep it for a week or so as I have submitted a support email to Canon. I have checked the other manufacturers and they all seem to have the same Windows 10 issue of no software. The only one I do not want is Sony as like with a Apple computer you must buy all their stuff and not just stuff off the shelve to get it to work.

Purchased 1st SX610HS in July 2015 to take on overseas trip. Before end of trip, lens cover malfunctioned (would neither open or close fully). Returned to Best Buy in exchange of 2nd SX610HS in October 2015. SAME PROBLEM with #2 by end of Jan 2016. I've recently returned 2nd camera to store in exchange for 3rd SX610HS. Should THIS camera do the same, I intend to get a full refund. My patience is being tested by Canon quality. The SX610's size and weight, quality of images, ease of set up and use are ALL very good...BUT if I can't take a picture reliably, those good qualities are of NO USE AT ALL. I am frustrated beyond words to express. That said, Best Buy's customer service throughout this ordeal has been superb!

Got this product after doing online review. Unfortunately all the pictures are blurred and the flash mode worked only for a day. After which the camera stopped clicking pictures in flash mode and in normal mode all pictures came out like ghost images. Very disappointed with the choice of canon camera.

Was expecting more for the money. disappointed by the quality of pictures taken

Was looking for a camera that could do live streaming (i.e., output video without recording). The sales associate said it would. It did not. P.S. I give it a poor rating and indicate "I would not recommend to a friend" simply because it did not have the live streaming capability. Other than that, I have no complaints against this product.
