I love the 30x zoom capacity as well as wide range of depth. I just wish it was little bit smaller to fit in my pocket, and easily turn off flash manually even on auto mode, if I have not figured it out yet.

The camera takes great, high quality pictures with a fast shutter speed. The camera has lots of advanced features like multi-shot and wireless connectivity. The only con is that the iphone software is a little limited in capabilities

Purchased this for convenient carry when my DSLR is too bulky. This provides good quality pictures , nice zoom ability and enough shooting modes to handle daily events. The wireless features are a plus, I love syncing to my PC over wifi.

My problem with this camera is battery life. A full charge and exotic vacation allows for only 1/2 day or 3 HR use. So better buy extra batteries. Why can't they do cable charging so could be powered by portable battery pack etc. that's my biggest gripe

Camera is exactly what I wanted.....great zoom & close up! I have used a Canon in the past & really like the brand. Easy to use & love the color! My only disappointment is the battery life per charge....I will have to purchase a second one since I have run out of power on a couple of occasions. Would recommend & would purchase again....very happy!

Never owned a Digital Camera other than what's on my phone and I came to best buy(mobile app) to search for one for a cruise I am taking and it works great and gets the job done, it's an incredible camera and is worth the price!

We've been happy with this camera so far. It has some features we weren't expecting to use, like the ability to take quick action shots and then make an instant collage out of them. Great for point and shoot with a toddler.

My cell phone had a memory card and it was crashed. There were so many unreplaceable photos in it and I couldn't recover them. ( I could not use Auto Save in Cyberspace for the photos and the unfortunate event was happened unpredictably. ) I bought this camera because it was small, compact, wifi ready and separate from phone. I needed a camera that I could carry it in my bag every day comfortably. Also, I am able to send the photos from this camera to other devices. 30x optical zoom is nice.

Great camera for traveling. Lightweight - zoom is very clear. I've brought this camera to concerts and the videos have come out very nice. I love the built in wifi feature where I can send photos directly to my phone.

Enjoying getting to know this camera. Been waiting for Canon to come out with another quality compact camera and this is it. I love taking photos but don't desire anything more than a point and shoot. This is the perfect camera for that!

This one was for my daughter. I borrowed it for a trip and then bought myself one. I gave that one to my grandson and bought the newer SX730 model for myself. This camera has an outstanding zoom range and takes very sharp pictures. We blew some of my travel shots up to 16x20 and they are great! I have a DSLR but it, with the lenses, is heavy and bulky. This small camera fits on my belt, has a broader zoom range, and is always ready for a shot.

I owned a previous version of this camera and loved it and took thousands of pics with it until my wife gave the camera a bath. So when I saw the same family of camera I was ready to buy as I loved the Power shot line.

Amazing camera. I bought it as an upgrade to my 3MP Powershot, but was uncertain if it would be different enough to justify the investment. However, it has far exceeded my expectations. The performance and image quality are excellent, and I’ve been very happy with the results. (I’m not so interested in all the other peripheral features—I just need a high-quality camera, not an information dock.) The reach of the zoom is amazing, though it’s easy to be overconfident. For super-long shots, it’s still necessary to find a steady resting place or use a tripod. But very sharp, full-frame, hand-held images of small subjects (backyard birds and squirrels, for example) are possible (for me, so far) in the 30 – 40 ft. range, particularly in good light. (Canon has added a button that allows you to quickly zoom out and return to your shot, but it requires some practice. If you’re accustomed to searching for things in a pair of binoculars or a spotting scope, you know how this works.) While there’s a lot of talk about the “super-zoom,” what’s often overlooked is its counterpart—the macro capability. This camera has an amazing close-focusing range—all done automatically. Simply make sure you’re in the standard (starting) focus range (not in zoom), and push in on your subject to within about an inch or so. Focus and shoot. Switching to “macro” in a separate action is not required (though it’s an option, if you choose). It’s all seamless. Fantastic. (One minor annoyance: if you pick up the camera from the right side, especially if you’re trying to remove it from a small case, invariably, your thumb hits the wi-fi connect button, and pops up a menu on the screen, which requires cancelling it, and starting over. With use, however, I’ve learned to avoid it.) Most basic functions will be familiar to Canon users. But be prepared for a serious learning curve, if you’re coming from an older and simpler camera, as I did, and want to take advantage of its full functionality. There are an amazing number of options. A printed User Manual comes in the box, but it’s minimally descriptive. To get the full manual that actually describes the “how-to’s” in sufficient detail requires downloading it from the Canon site. However, fully automatic operations also allow you to shoot nice images right out of the box. As a long-time Canon SLR user, I’ve been really pleased with the feel and performance of this camera. It has the feel of a solid build, enough heft to feel like it’s not going to fall out of your hand, and is still small enough to fit into a pocket. Two features are particularly satisfying: the handy grip on the front of the camera, which allows you to carry and handle it securely; and the nice “shutter sound” which mimics perfectly the shutter click of an SLR. One other minor issue is that the selector knob is a little tight and can be somewhat difficult to rotate until you get the feel of it. This might be a concern for some users, but it’s certainly not enough to overshadow all the other virtues of the camera, and I prefer it to another on-screen menu. Battery life is good. I can use the camera off-and-on for a full day before needing a recharge. But I keep a second battery handy for when it’s needed. I looked for a long time at other competing cameras in this class, but decided on this one, based on user reviews, features, and price. I’ve only had it for a couple of months, but so far I’m very happy with it. (My interest is in quality still images, so I’ve not tried anything yet with video.) I was looking for a multi-function, excellent quality “pocket-camera” that takes great images. For me, this has proven to be the right choice—and has actually far exceeded my expectations.

This a great phone with many functional options. I'm very basic, so this camera went way above my needs. This camera took great photos and I was able to Bluetooth transfer photos to other devices with ease.
