Purchasing an actual camera was an upgrade for me from my usual Android tablet photography. I was looking for something simple to use as well as zoom capabilities for an upcoming safari trip. The picture quality met my needs, and I was able to figure out the WiFi transfer to my computer without too much difficulty. My only complaint at this point is that some of the markings on the camera have already started to fade after using it on only one trip. I didn't expose the camera to any extreme elements, so it might just be the oil from my finger...but still I wouldn't have expected this as a problem.

Small, compact with many great features including a very good zoom. I am not a professional, so I can only judge this camera as an amateur. It did everything we needed it to do on our vacation and was small enough to keep in a shirt pocket or small purse. I love it and am very glad for our purchase. We did look at many reviews for different cameras. I do like the interface for Canon, so that was part of our decision. I have always had good luck with Canon and this one is no different.

Much better than my iPhone! Small enough to put in my pocket but takes high quality pictures I would recommend this for an easy to use beginner camera!

I wanted a small camera with pixel quality and wifi ability. I travel frequently and enjoy this camera's features, which are similar to the larger professional models.

This camera is easy to use and with it's compact size it's easy to stash away. Pictures are high quality.

Been using this camera for a while now. It has a lot of features that I really don't use. I don't always find it very responsive to taking the picture. There are times I hit for it to take and it lags several seconds before capturing the moment (Sometimes too late). Some pictures are crisp, others not so much. I don't like where the video record button is because that was the location to turn the camera off on all the other brands I had. I like the size of it and the color. The zoom is pretty awesome. In general, I like this one much better than my nikon.

This camera worked out well for taking photos in vacation. It is easy to use and has many features. Compact enough to put in a purse or tote bag.

We bought this camera to take on vacation so we didn't have to bring our large Cannon. This was a great move, it was easy to carry around and took fantastic pictures! Very happy with this purchase!

This is a great camera for the zoom ability for its size. It is replacing a larger, DSLR camera for me with about the same zoom. I wanted something that was smaller and easier to travel with, but still had a much better zoom ability than my phone camera. The zoom is excellent. My only drawback to the camera is that it's a bit larger than most of the compact digital cameras I was used to. This one doesn't quite fit so easily in a pocket, although it does fit in a small purse. I love how this easily transfers images to my phone or other device so I can share them instantly.

We bought this camera days before our international vacation because we didn’t want to pack the Nikon and tote all the lenses. The best decision ever! Great pictures and the zoom is amazing and our shots are very clear! All in one camera and very easy to store. Long lasting battery too. We used most of the features including the video feature. Great price! We bought the red color because it was $100 less than the black color with the exact features.

Sometimes having a solid Camera with a good range of features that takes a great picture is nice to have. I have too often noticed that my iPhone and my wife's Galaxy just don't 100% work as great as they should for pictures. New software updates or app changes can bugger up things as well. This isn't to say everyone should get a stand alone camera, but this is a great point and shoot with great optical zoom, wifi and other picture options.

This is my second Canon camera like this to own. I loved the first one so much but unfortunately dropped my first one so many times, it started having a problem focusing when zooming. This camera takes as good if not better pictures than my expensive DSLR camera. Camera is so easy to carry. The only downside to this is when you zoom out as far as you can, you need to steady your arms on something to not have a blurry picture. Slight to moderate zoom is good. No lens cap to worry about because it covers automatically when you turn camera off. My go to camera of choice and I own several.

Had to quickly buy a camera before going on a vacation. It seems that digital cameras aren't as available as prior years. Cameras shops only had higher priced cameras and I didn't have time to purchase one on-line. The Cannon was a great size, easily fitted in my small purse or I used a caring case over the shoulder. Didn't have much time to read the instructions, but it was quite similar to my smaller Sony that died and would have been too expensive to repair. The pictures so far look great, but I have not printed any pictures as of yet. Quite happy with the performance so far.

I bought this so I wouldn't have to travel with my phone and it did not disappoint. I was able to take a gorgeous close-up photo of the full moon that would not have been possible with my iPhone camera. I love the ease of transferring photos via wifi (no internet needed) on to my iPad or iMac. I had a much earlier version of the Canon PowerShot and so glad I stayed within the family.

We lost or camera while on vacation and I was going to do extensive research however, I saw this one while in the store and decided to give it a go. After a month I can say I do not regret my purchase. The zoom is fantastic (a requirement at purchase), the simplicity is great (a feature, or lack there of, my wife was looking for), and the ease of PC connection is very nice. I was concerned about the battery life with AA batteries but it seems pretty good. A note on simplicity: The camera has lots of features but you can also just point zoom and shoot.
