Disclaimer, I am not a professional photographer, I only photograph for fun. I had been researching camera for a while and was trying to decide between a DSLR or this camera. I finally chose this one because it wasn't as cumbersome. The quality of photos I can take with it are outstanding. I am in love with this camera! It is incredibly easy to use for someone who is not knowledgeable about camera settings. I would recommend this to anyone.

Canon has always provided good cameras. Like most products, you get what you pay for, and this camera is worth it. Great new features along with Canon's already outstanding product.

My husband surprised me by taking in to buy a camera so we hadn't done any research. Ended up choosing this one for the high pixels and zoom. I used the heck out of it on our trip in the mountains and the photos are wonderful. The zoom is really more than you can hand hold and focus with though. You need a small tripod if you want to use camera zoomed all the way. It's larger and heavier than my other Canon so I have a choice depending on what I want. I haven't learned how to use the NFC as I have Apple phone and iPad and they' don't seem to be compatible with NFC.

I am very satisfied with this point and shoot digital camera. The zoom capacity is amazing (however you need to brace yourself and hold very still when taking a photo at the full zoom - or use a tripod) The overall photo quality is wonderful. The software interface to send to my iphone works well. The camera is sturdy and well-built, and is small, so easy to carry in a small case, and not too heavy. I noticed when sending the photos wireless to my iphone, the pictures were compressed and less quality than putting the memory card into my computer and transferring them that way. I have no complaints - I'm a happy buyer on this purchase.

Received this camera for Christmas. So excited to use it. I have read several reviews on it and heard it was a great camera. I love the zoom on it and the stabilization feature.

This camera had the best combination of features I was after with regard to pixels, zoom, wifi and size.

It's a great size for travel. I really like the zoom feature, especially for family events when we can't get close to the action. Easy to use.

bought this before my vacation trip to the mountains. took some awesome pics and a video of a black bear stealing a six pack of pepsi's from the bed of someones pickup truck.

Got it for my wife for our trip to the Grand Canyon and Tetons. She tooks lots of photos and thoroughly enjoyed the ease of use. Photos came out great. The photos actually zoomed in better and came out sharper then many of the ones I took on my DSL.

I've been very happy with my Canon SX210 IS (with a 14 power optical zoom) for more than a decade, but when Best Buy put a Canon SX720 HS on sale for Xmas, I couldn't resist buying a 40x optical zoom that was only slightly larger. It has of course incorporated a decade's worth of enhancements, and even restored the satisfying click when a photo has been taken as used in my wife's old but still functional SX100 IS.

This was a great camera. I had to take it back only because I wanted a camera with touch screen features as well as a selfie screen. The zoom on this camera was phenomenal!

This is a newer model of the same camera we have had for over 2 years and loved. Our daughter and son-in-law liked ours so much they requested the new model for Christmas!

Nice camera, great zoom, easy to carry! Bought it to replace my Nikon 510 which has a 42X zoom but is significantly larger in size. Much easier to carry on vacation while hiking, biking, etc. I went to the zoo with both my old camera (which I loved) and the new one and took the same pictures with both cameras. The pictures in the new camera are just as good - no distinguishable difference in photo quality.

By far the easiest small camera to use. Great photos. Easy menu. Under/over exposure handy. Wish the video button was still on the back (vs top of camera) where it was easier to start & stop video while keeping the camera steady during filming. Also preferred the camera flash button on the back instead of the left side. Otherwise, it's still a great camera for it's size, and the zoom beats a cell phone camera's limitations.

I usually use my telephone camera, because it is handy, but sometimes you need to zoom in, so this is awesome. I also like that it is wifi and connects right to my phone.

I purchased this camera for my recent trip to Iceland and wasn't disappointed. It takes great, crisp pictures and I absolutely love the 40X zoom capability. It also has all of the manual capabilities, yet, it is still small enough to easily carry around everywhere. It is easy to use and my pictures turned out great! I was travelling with friends who had much larger, professional camera equipment and my pictures were as good as theirs!
