We liked the ergonomics of this camera but it seems to lack color and focus options when shooting multi-layered landscapes. The contrast gets lost and it ends up only showing one or two of six or seven layers of mountains.

I wanted a camera that was easy to carry on a hike. After researching and reviewing I chose the Canon Powershot Sx 720. It is perfect for traveling as it is compact and it takes beautiful pictures. I have a larger Canon Camera with a Zoom lens and needed something smaller that wasn't to bulky to carry around. The Canon Powershot is perfect!

Very pleased with this camera with all of the features it has. Really like the 40 zoom power in taking scenic pictures far away. I was amazed in how one can zoom and bring the image right up to the detail. I am a retiree and find the camera very easy to use. In fact have not read all the features one can use with this camera. The Best Buy customer service people were very helpful in making my selection.

Yes, this is a point and shoot, but more like one for pros. It has many outstanding features and to me, the best is that you can operate this camera virtually manually - with options to select ISO, shutter speed etc. It takes great shots in low light; the flash doesn't completely drown the color of your shot. The big surprise is that the mic is solid enough to record a live rock concert without distortion. Only setback is that it doesn't charge via a USB to a computer. The battery has to be removed and put in its charger. But that's not really much of a problem when the camera itself is so good.

I have had several types of cameras over the years, both large and small. I really never got into picture taking. This a perfect camera for me and Cannon is a good brand name.The sales person at the Best Buy in Plantation, FL was very helpful with my purchase. The few pictures I have taken so far were very good. The size of the camera is perfect for me. This Best Buy store is the best one I have shopped at.

This is a very easy to use camera, takes great pictures and is small and compact.

I purchased this camera to replace my old one purchased in 2004/2005. I wanted a point and shoot with lots of zoom capabilities, but something I could still fit in a pocket. I am amazed of the pictures this camera produced, even when using full optical zoom. The Creative Shot mode was a great surprise. I do miss the view finder, especially when you cannot see the screen in high glare/sun, but great camera otherwise.

I am not a photographer. Haven't touched anything but my ifone for pictures in 20 years. Went to Africa for my dream vacation and needed more than just my cell phone. This camera was great. Easy to use and the Zoom really made a difference in what I captured. Very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone that is photo challenged.

I love this camera. I was hesitant to purchase because of the price. I was looking for a portable camera that could send pictures via WiFi. This was perfect! I usually share my pictures and downloading them on the computer and then sharing was a bit much. With this camera, I can send pictures directly from the camera.

It is small with a telephoto lens. Easy to use and takes nice pics. Doesn't weigh much so great for hiking.

Canon is always dependable when it comes to photos. I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. With a very reasonable price, it brings a lot of features

Great price for this camera. I have used it numerous of times since purchasing it in the outdoors and in my home. Could not be more pleased with this product.

Upgraded my camera from a Canon 16 mp with a 5x zoom to 20.3mp and a 40x zoom........it has all the similar features as the previous camera except it is supposed to have wi fi which at this time I have yet to get to work properly and you have to flip up the flash to use (which I find Annoying) but I love the fact that when you take pictures not only does it take much farther , sharper, clearer pictures than the previous camera but it blows up less grainy to boot ..

I bought this camera for a trip to Africa and I was very happy with the results. Both animals and people looked great on the auto setting. Videos also came out great. The connection to WiFi was easy. Battery life is longer than my past cameras. I highly recommend this camera for good pictures without a lot of effort.

This has a HUGE optical zoom for a pocket sized point and shoot. Works great for outdoor concerts but isn't the greatest at night. Video quality is great.
