Purchased this camera for vacation cruise .wanted the longer zoom so would not have to take a dslr camera. Camera offers a lot of features that other camera don't. Still learning. I do miss a viewfinder when shooting in bright sunlight.

This camera is a replacement for my old Power Shot and it is so much better. I can now do beautiful videos without the battery running out and the pictures have great resolution. The stronger batteries seem to last a very long time for still shots.

I was impressed with the quality of pictures this small camera takes. It has same quality as more expensive cameras and it more convenient to carry with you due to smaller size.

For casual shooting, the SX720 HS is a competent companion assuming you don't go crazy with the zoom. Shots are sharp when taken in close range, and the photo effects are fun to play with. Though the menus are a blast from 2010, this camera is nice and simple, so you should be able to find what you want with relative ease.

I just used this camera in Hawaii for our honeymoon. Takes great pictures.

Love that this camera is compact and can go into sports venues! The zoom is the highest zoom available in a point-and-shoot camera, and does excellent at concerts and sporting events; especially when you feel you're far away!

I bought this camera for my wife who loves taking photos everywhere. She has been especially impressed with the multiple zoom features allowing her to take closer pix than ever before. Easy for her to learn the features - nothing but rave reviews!

Camera was easy to use, takes nice pictures. We camp and I was looking for a "pocket" camera to carry on hikes. I chose this one because of the zoom. Sadly, it's a little bulky for a pocket. Other than that - a nice smaller camera.

My husband studied reviews before requesting this as a Christmas gift. He wanted a pocket-sized camera with a good zoom and image stabilization that he could take on hikes into the mountains. He seems to be happy with it but the proof will be when he gets out this summer. Perhaps then I can give it a 5 star review.

The number one thing I like most about this camera, aside from how awesome the pics look, is how easy it is to transfer the pics and vids from it to my phone or my wife's phone. It doesn't matter if you have an Android or the other kind of phone

I used this camera recently on a vacation and it took great pictures.

I was able to get clear, super close pics during my last vacation in Europe. Best part, this camera was compact enough to put in my small purse. My pics where just as good as my sisters and she brought her huge camera with her and had to lug it around.

Bought this for my Alaskan cruise - got a lot of great outdoor shots using the zoom. The camera is small and easy to carry.

THIS IS THE THIRD CANON I HAVE HAD. THE FIRST I DROPPED AFTER YEARS OF USE. THE SECOND IS STILL WORKING BUT I WANTED ONE WITH WIFI. ALL CAMERAS FROM CANON ARE SUPERB INCLUDING THIS ONE. EASY TO USE AND EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. GREAT PICTURES!

In spite of having an iPhone and iPad, I still think a good digital camera takes better pictures many times. The wi-fi feature is what sold me on this camera and I love it! I took over 300 pictures on a recent trip to Italy and was able to seamlessly transfer them to my iPad using the Canon app. Once on my iPad they synced perfectly to my other devices. It's an easy to use camera with great picture quality. I have yet to try all the photo settings, but those I have tried worked very well.

I like the look of the camera and the numerous functions available.

Good little camera. Nice pic quality and perfect size. Only issue is connectivity. No support anymore for wireless transfer to Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, or Mac). Would have tried another camera if I'd been fully aware of that.
