I needed a small camera that was easy to use yet provided great pictures. The Canon SX720 did all I wanted.

This camera is lighter and more compact than previous PowerShots I have had. Great pics and easy to use. I only wish the on/off switch was a little bisser.

A friend of mine had this camera and I enjoyed using it. You can see what you are taking pictures of even in bright sunlight on the flat screen. I was concerned there wasn't a viewfinder but I didn't have a problem seeing what I was taking a picture of. The pictures come out very clear. The zoom is excellent. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this camera mostly for travel. Great little camera you can slip in your pocket. Has a lot of nice features.

I bought this to replace one I'd forgotten to take on vacation and am happy to have two -- both were on sale, and they seem to do good work. It has a bell and whistle or two, and the battery life so far is tolerable -- I have only just now switched from AAs (available everywhere) to the hassle of needing to re-charge, but I keep it in Eco Mode and it might be OK, though it doesn't seem to indicate "low battery" as the floor person had said, simply dies suddenly. I'll feel better carrying a spare. But it seems like a fine little camera. Nice long zoom!

This is the third time I've bought a small, fit in your pocket size Canon. As you can tell, I've enjoyed my other cameras. I bought this one so I could have a better zoom,, especially for my European river cruise. Haven't gone yet, I'll update afterwards. The test pictures look great. I didn't give this a 5-stAr rating because I'm disappointed in the Wi-Fi connection. You can't get on line to any web pages except cloud storage for pictures, although you can send to your smartphone so you can then post pix somewhere others can see. Seems kind of convoluted when it's touted as Wi-first accessible.

easy to use, great pictures, like ability to sent to phone via Bluetooth. fairly easy to learn all the settings.

The SX720 is easy to use right out of the box and great for travel. Wanted to reduce weight from carrying my dslr and much better than my iPhone. Great zoom.
