This is a great pocket camera with a wonderful zoom. The pictures are clear and of perfect quality. However, I returned the camera as I could not get used to not having an eye viewfinder to look through. I'm old school I suppose so traded this wonderful little camera for the Canon Powershot SX70HS, which suits me perfectly. If you want a point and shoot camera with a long zoom, this is the perfect camera.

Canon sx720hs has the same issues as the Sony DSC-HX50V. Hard to see the screen in bright sun. Canon is slower to focus. WiFi is more difficult to setup. Canon has better picture quality outdoors than Sony. Sony has a software crash issue that stops it from working, Canon does not. I cant recommend one over the other. Each has operational issues.

Great camera, excellent zoom yet compact and easy to carry with you - so you have it with you when you need to snap a pic. Great pictures, super 40 x zoom - not available elsewhere on compact cameras. The reviews say the zoom is not clear - that is not true.

My wife has been using this camera with great success- very sharp pictures and easy to use.

It was a bit heavier than I expected, but it is a good size. I took pictures of kids in the percussion section at the back of the band from the furthest away auditorium seat against the back wall. The zoom took amazingly clear pictures, especially for a camera I can carry in my purse . The video quality was equally good as was the sound quality. After a short time reading the directions I was ready to go. But there are many more techniques available that haven't been tried yet. I can't wait to use it at their games......and then take it on my vacation!

Really good photos. Quick to take photos. Heavy usage by me. One major complaint is that the camera does not have a date feature!!! It is 2017 why is the date feature not available???

Easy to use and the screen is bright and clear. The zoom is excellent for a pocket camera.

Really like the small size and it takes good pictures. Not too hip on the red color.
