Good zoom. Excellent sturdy feel in hand. Pop up flash is weird..

So far this camera has done everything I wanted. It's zoom is awesome and the Wi-Fi was fairly easy to connect and use. I am still trying to learn and use all the features. I like how it tells me when I need the flash~just need to get use to that and to flip it up.

Love the optical zoom this has & quality of the pictures. Easy to use too.

This camera takes beautiful, clear pictures even when zoomed to the max. Action shots are also great. It is the best point and shoot camera I have ever owned.

We were looking for a not so expensive camera that took good pictures and video this camera goes above and beyond that. The images are videos are very crisp and great volume love this camera

Being a Nikon fan I found this camera okay and easy to operate. Our family was going on a Disney trip and I didn't want to pack my good Nikon camera in the park. This camera did its purpose and fit into my small purse. The only complaint is you have to flip on the flash, wish it was automatic.

This camera is wonderful. I especially love the 40X lens which allows me to shoot subjects that are many feet away. Great especially for taking pictures of animals. The zoom lens allows you to take close up pictures of your pet without them even knowing that there is a camera in the room!

This is my second SX270 camera. I still have the first one and really like it which prompted me to buy the second one. It is hard to believe but the new SX270 is even better. I keep one at home and one at the office. I have owned Sony point and shoots, but these Canons are by the far the best.

Downgraded recently from my Canon DSLR to the Powershot and don't miss it. The SX720 has a lot of features and flexibility and 40X optical zoom. Only issue so far is that I can't get the wireless to work on either my Mac or PC. Not a big problem as I rarely use it but it would be nice to have working. otherwise, very satisfied especially at the sale price.

this was a gift for my college grandson, he is enjoying it tremendously, he loves the features , like the zoom lens, and the create pic mode where 6 different shots come up on one pict. including black and white , and other things i dont know about yet. he carries it with him all the time.

This camera has an awesome zoom lens but takes someone with a very steady hand to get a good clear shot. I agree with the other reviews that the flash needing to be turned on is not ideal. I also did not like the reviews about the short battery life, so I sent it back and ordered the new model, which I personally haven't had long enough to form an opinion.

This camera is rugged, has tremendous zoom quality aND multiple falling options. Great camera.

The Cannon PowerShot SX720HS has replaced an older Cannon PowerShot camera for me. I love the ease of use, convenient size and the ability to use wireless transfer of photos. Picture quality is excellent and the quick transfer of shots is great for quickly sharing photos.

I bought this camera right before taking a trip to Japan, and it took wonderful pics, zoom is awesome although the shots are a little grainy I didn't play with the settings so that might have been the problem, I will try it later on and see if it improves it but I love this camera

The camera is for my granddaughter who is 15 years old. Appears to be a good beginners camera. Will let you know after she uses it.

great zoom; takes good pictures in all light compact pocket size

This camera takes very sharp pictures! The different modes like soft focus are wonderful. I haven't had an opportunity to try them all out. Vivid mode really makes the colors intense. It is a lot heavier than my last point and shoot camera but am so pleased that I made this purchase.

Fun features, great pix, including taking video as well as still shots. We were in lots of places where you couldn't use flash, and it did just fine, and also got great shots from a distance (great details on jellyfish taken from the 8th level of a cruise ship).
