not what I expected

My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 took way better pictures. The only good thing was the wireless sharing feature. I was able to download all the pictures to my cellphone with no problem. I returned the camera after a week of use.

Don’t buy

Outstanding camera with tremendous versatility...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Canon PowerShot 720 HS has continued to amaze me in its ease of use, versatility, fantastic image quality and outstanding features. What I appreciate the most is how easy this camera is to learn and use. For most people it is straight forward and with a little extra time spent reviewing how to use the more complex features it will quickly become a go to vacation, friends tag along and family time camera. I continue to be amazed at how compact this camera is when the over lens length is taken into account. The zoom in and out is quick and having this be a true optical rather than a digital zoom allows for beautiful high resolution images. The built in image stabilization is a very nice feature. There are some very cool features I have yet to explore and look forward to seeing the power of this compact camera. The red is awesome.

Not what I was hoping for

pictures not very sharp

Beware

Missed out on taking precious family pictures at family reunion the day after it was purchased. Contacted Canon to address quality control issue and received extremely poor customer service. My previous camera was a Canon that broke a little over the first year after purchasing it. Can't say I will ever purchase another Canon again.

Don't waste your money

(Took great pictures until dust got inside the lens) Image quality was poor. Detail not very sharp. I returned it and got a Sony DSC-HX80. I'm very happy with it.
