Right out of the box you can feel the quality and weight of metal components, not plastic. It was a gift for mom who needs the simplicity of a point and shoot. It has wifi direct and remote capable with an app. Flash release is manual so you need to remember to release it. It has all the features that a semi-pro could need. I take over 20k pics a year and the photo color and clarity are top shelf.

The camera takes very nice pictures and zooms out very far. Great camera for the price and size. WiFi connection to my phone is a huge plus.

The camera takes very clear pictures and has an amazing zoom for such a small size. It's light and fits great into a pocket or purse. When using the zoom at its furthest length the stabiliazation is a bit tricky. You also have to remember that the flash does not work well when using the zoom. All in all a great camera for photos that are more clear and crisp than a phone. I would recommend for that purpose.

This is a nice little pocket camera. It has a lot of features. The zoom works well but is definitely blurry when it's all the way out. I have small hands and I had trouble with some of the buttons since they are so close together. Someone with larger hands might have even more trouble. My pictures turned out nice. I'm still learning how to get them off the camera especially posting them to social media.

Bought the camera for my father who loves to travel. He loves it. Easy to use, compact and take great pictures.

I was looking for an easy to use Point & Shoot camera with a good zoom. The Canon PowerShot did not disappoint. It takes great pictures and the zoom is excellent. It's small and easy to carry around. Battery life is decent. I had to get used to the flashlight. Overall great camera.

I love this camera. It has lots of nice features at a reasonable price. The zoom is incredible. I like the size as it is easy to take anywhere. It's very easy to use & it takes high quality pictures.

I love this camera and the ability to point and shoot as well as change the shutter speed. I actually took one of the best waterfall pics I ever have with this camera and I had a professional camera at one time. I don't regret downgrading to this smaller camera that fits right in my purse. The only downfall is the strap got caught on my ring and the pull caused me to drop and break my camera after only 5 weeks having it. It's being repaired and I will happily use it again.

We have had Canons for years. Our last one was just getting 'old' and slow and the flash gave up the ghost. We've researched for a while and decided on this one. We have not actually used this on a trip yet, but our test photos are coming out nice. Hopefully it will provide us everything we have come to know and expect from Canon. And couldn't beat the Black Friday pricing!

Very nice camera, nice pictures, easy to use and light weight.

Starts up fast, takes pics fast. The zoom is the biggest perk for me and the reason I chose it. Has easy to use function as well as some advanced settings for those with more photography skills. Also has fun auto settings to take a bunch of pics at once with random filters, and can make little clip videos with pics/video combined. I am still learning all it can do- but the battery is good too I was getting almost two days of vacation use with a little flash use here and there. It was expensive for me but I am satisfied I made a good purchase.

OMG! This camera is amazing! It took me awhile of browsing online and YouTube videos to understand the wifi sharing, but one I realized the camera makes its own wifi and I can connect my phone to that rather than to my home network, it was smooth sailing. The app works great although I was initially hesitant, I am totally satisfied as I no longer need a middle man (putting SD card in laptop and transferring to my phone and then sharing with whatsapp, etc.). I love the red color and once the zoom is peaking out, it is a simple matter of slightly tapping the button, but not completely pressing for a photo until the image is clear. For longest distances, any slight movement can blur the image, just like flying a helicopter, think small movements and perhaps find something solid to rest on for stability.

Very compact, easy to hold and handle. Very light in weight. Very clear pictures. Colors always perfect. Easy to use and uncomplicated Just the right amount of buttons. Wish it came with a camera bag but I just made one.

This camera is everything I wanted for a pocket size camera. Great resolution awesome zoom and the battery last all day. It has wifi so I can download pics to my phone and post right away.

With the 40 times zoom this camera can focus on subjects at a very long distance. The size is perfect for traveling. Battery life is good. Excellent camera for the price.

All my pictures are fantastic, great size, not heavy

Had a hard time deciding between the Nikon CoolPIXB500 & this one. Several of Nikon's settings were easier to access, ex:. backlighting, night pre-sets. Ultimately the feel of the camera in my hand and the slimmer size (able to put it in a purse without having to carry it in a camera bag) made the decision. Low light photos without flash are excellent. Easy focus, good continuous rapid shots. Takes a bit of time learning all of the uses, but then which camera doesn't? I shoot at highest resolution so prints turn out great. Recommend getting an extra battery to always have at hand. The Best Buy replacement may not last as long as the original but is much less expensive and after all, it is a replacement just in case you run out.

Great camera. Big viewfinder and allows you to zoom in to see object better and get better picture. Easy to work to go from action shot to regular shot. Light weight and does not take up much room.

I love the fact this camera is small enough to fit in a standard purse, but can still zoom in to capture great pictures of my child performing on stage while I stand in the back of an auditorium. I also love the fact that it is so easy to sync to my iPad and then a few clicks later can be posted on Facebook
