Light weight, easy to operate, recharges quickly between shots, good quality lens and convenient zoom toggle. Slightly more expensive than others in the field, but worth the extra.

My friend has one of these and the quality of her pictures is amazing! When I tried to use the camera, I was not comfortable using it because it is heavier than the Samsung Cybershot I had previously been accustomed to. Also, I love to take my shots with one hand. This was not doable with this one, and it is very touchy about the least movement, thus my pictures were often defocused.

Great camera, lightweight, easy to use. Good price, very reasonable.

Takes great pics in well lit scenes......there is a lot to learn about this camera, with the electronic manual.....as I said, great pics with the zoom......had no problem transferring my pics to my phone, via wifi....only reason not 5 stars was pics taken with flash....I took them in auto.....maybe if I experiment with manual settings, they will improve.....

We were looking for a smaller camera that could perform like the larger more professional models, this works for us perfectly. Lots of features and easy to take along , very happy with the quality and it was affordable as well

This camera has a lot of pluses: 1) Priced at less than $300; 2) Its size is compact enough to put in your pocket or purse; 3) 40x optical zoom to take pictures from faraway; 4) Many functions like the one where you take one picture and the camera edits it for you; 5) color-it's red!!! 6) Wi-Fi capability; and 7) it's easy to use-just point and shoot. Although this camera seems almost without fault, there are a few flaws: 1) It doesn't have a touchscreen; 2) The battery must be removed and placed in its own charger. Overall, this product is a very good deal for someone who like to have a camera handy to take pictures with ease.

We purchased this camera a day or so before leaving on a trip. It is intuitive and takes great photos the first time around! Phenomenal zoom capability, light, fits in my pocket. Drawback includes fact that flash must be manually flipped, and the settings dial turns so easily that it moved from auto a few times without us knowing it. Recommended.

I like the slim compactness of this camera. It fits easily in my purse. Also, the 40 x zoom feature lets me take nice close photos that are clear and sharp. It’s very easy to operate, you just aim and shoot. Canon has always been my favorite camera.

We were on an Alaskan vacation last year and saw the amazing pictures one of our travel friends was taking with this camera. Decided we had to get this camera for our trip to South Africa. It's small but takes amazing pictures. Highly recommend!

This is my fourth of the SX camera series. I use it for work and take approximately 30,000 photos per year with it. They just keep getting better and better. It has held up well to daily use and the occasional tumble. I do my best to treat it well but it does get banged around a bit. The zoom and image stabilization on this camera is phenomenal as well as the macro. Many times you can take a picture inside without a flash and you will be surprised at the results. Evening or low light outdoor shots can be surprisingly good and this little gem has outperformed several SLR cameras. Put a lanyard on it and keep it around your wrist when you are using it and you should have this camera for a long time. One neat feature that you should avail yourself of is it's built in WiFi that lets you send photos to your computer or to your cell phone. You select which device to pair to. This allows you to take superior photos that any phone can take and then upload or share with friend or any social media outlet. It also has a mode that allows you to operate it with your cell phone so you can be in a group shot, look at what the camera sees in your cell phone and then take the photo when everything is correct. I can't speak to how well this feature works, but I have been told it is pretty cool.

Size is small enough to fit in your pocket; yet takes great close-ups from far. I go to a LOT of sporting events and concerts, and it has taken amazing photos! Lens is attached, so it goes through security with no problems!

I wanted a good camera that I could shoot video and get better quality than my phone. Not only is the quality so freaking great but the WiFi ability to send to my social media is such a great feature. Honestly, I travel a lot and I would use my cell phone a lot however it would burn the battery so quickly and I wanted a better photo which I get that and so much more from this camera. Every time I am taking photos I feel like it is such an amazing shot (note I am a novice at this ) and I feel like I have been missing out on so much with the other photos I have been taking on my expensive phone that really does not do justice to the moments I want to capture.

This camera is so compact and easy to operate. I had owned one in the past and looked around until I found it again. And I like that you can get it in different colors now too. It is a little bigger than the size of a deck of cards so it will fit just about anywhere. It is simple to use and takes great pictures. A very practical camera, with fun features to enhance your photos.

This camera is versatile and the picture quality is very good. Easy to use amd operate. My daughters at the age of 9 took pictures of birds while camping and the photo came out looking like a piece at a gallery.

This camera is very similar to others I have purchased so very little learning curve was needed. I haven't developed any pictures yet but close-ups seem to be clear. It is a little heavy. It isn't black! The "record" button is where the "on/off" switch should be and I HATE it. I am constantly making recordings because the record button is at the very edge of the camera and location of "on/off" switch is awkward. I like that the battery doesn't have to be charged in the camera.

The small size of the camera makes it one that you will carry without hesitating as opposed to a large SLR camera. We used this on an Alaskan cruise tour and the 40X zoom really came in handy for the wildlife, glaciers, etc. We got better pictures than some with the SLR cameras and huge lenses. Easily fits into a shirt pocket so you can quickly grab and go and not worry about a lot of bulk or weight. The stabilization and good lens made for some excellent photos and videos. It is easy to operate.

I have used Canon cameras for years. I take thousands of pictures a year for business and this model camera stacks up well. Easy to use and photos are excellent quality. My only regret with this newer model is that it will not imprint date/time onto photo.

I bought this camera for my daughter's school recital- low light and far away. This camera was amazing! Others were frustrated with their cellphones camera, but this camera is small enough to fit in my pocket, fantastic photos and videos, and wi-fi enabled so they upload quickly.

This camera is much better than I expected. Its compact size makes it easy to carry. The zooming capability is amazing. I am totally satisfied with this camera. Can’t wait for my next vacation!
