Make sure you get the instruction booklet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The camera seems to work fine, although it didn't come with instruction manual, & Best Buy employee said Canon was going green and you had to download & print (the 198 page) manual. Unfortunately, the zoom isn't clear enough for graduation photos from the first floor tier at the Sears Center Arena, nor from street level to focus on the Virgin Mary statue above St. Mary's Mayo Clinic hospital in Rochester, so I was a bit disappointed. In photo is camera with strap and charger.

A smallish lens protrusion hides an absolutely Freudian 40x zoom lens with an aperture range of f/3.3-6.9. Behind that monster of a lens is a standard 20.3-megapixel 1/2.3" CMOS sensor.
