My old Canon SX530 camera just died. It had traveled around the world with me thru about 80 different countries. It had been dropped and treated badly along the way...it was a good camera until the final drop when the focus stopped working. Given the fact that the 530 was a good warhorse, I chose the latest version of the camera. So far I like it a lot. It still fits in my pocket but it has a few improvements. The flash is now manual and much better than before! The screen seems to be about the same, but now I can take selfies (which I don’t really care about). It is supposed to hook up to an app...but it’s not reliable. Transferring photos to my iPad is easy with an iPad connector. As for the picture taking ability of the camera, I find it similar to the 530. It’s scheduled to take several trips this coming year and I’ll give it good workout when I’m on the road! So far, it’s a good camera!

Camera is easy to use. Takes great pictures. Compact.

Takes beautiful pictures once you figure out how to use all the features. Not self explanatory, you need to do some reading if you want all the benefits thus camera has to offer. But then it packs a great picture that fits easily into your pocket. Quality Canon, fantastic zoom for a pocket camera.

I've always taken awesome pictures of sunsets, sunrises, full moon, and animals, including does, bucks, foxes, raccoons, and many bird species at Robert Moses beach on Fire Island. I also take wonderful family photos of my children and grandchildren.

I am a DSLR user. I bought this camera was to check if point and shoot will come close to the performance. I was positively surprised to see the performance was pretty good and it worked well. The zoom is good and images come sharp at full zoom. The selfi mode (with flip display) is very good and handy.

This is my 2nd . My other camera developed scratch on the sensor. Better to buy new one than repair. Love the zoom! Best for the money. I always hope to learn photography, but until then, I love the auto setting. Consistent good photos.

A camera that has finally made it’s way home after so much research. Quality picture and video, timer features, WiFi control, adjustable screen for angles and front facing picture and video. Fits well in the Lowepro - Tahoe Camera Case!

My friends on the trip had cameras with the big lens and they were amazed at the close ups I was getting from several hundred yards, we were taking pictures of wildlife, bears, moose. I got pictures of dawl sheep from a half mile.

I love this camera! It's a great choice for amateur photographers. I take this on my travels, both domestic and international. It's durability is wonderful for the price as well.

This is my second canon, my dog chewed the last one so I needed a quick replacement for vacation. Upgraded to this one love it just as much and a friend just purchased the same one after seeing my old camera, which she loved.

The is a great point and shoot camera with a fantastic zoom lens.

I never buy anything but Canon and this camera did not let me down. I used it for the first time on our trip to Hawaii and I was able to get some amazing shots. The zoom is great for a point and shoot camera.

So far I love it. Have not had a lot of time to play with it.

My precious camera broke a couple days before a family wedding so I needed to get a new one ASAP. I had read reviews about the button to take the pictures being hard to press down, but I think it works very well. Great shots!

Love the clarity of the screen and the other buttons are fairly easy to use. I do miss having an owners manual though because i enjoy the reference guide that allows me to learn about the camera while reading along

The camera is good but I just wish it would do a better job with moving objects. I'm not sure if there is a setting I can change or something to help with that since moving objects always come out blurry. Other than that it's a good camera.

This is an awesome camera. It’s compact size and picture quality make it a great alternative to our egos 70d. If you like great picture quality with the ability to film videos then this is the camera to get.
