This camera is amazing !! It takes Amazing pictures , has a great zoom for its size ! Easy to use and love the wi-fi so I can transfer the pictures to my phone !! If your looking for and GOOD camera with out lugging around the weight of a big camera this is the one !! Definitely a Great buy !

I have been using this camera about a month now. I have had no issues. Everything is still working as it did the day I bought it. Tons of neat features and functions!! takes nice video and great pictures!! It does have a neat function where you can bluetooth sync your phone and camera to use your phone as a remote. Just be warned it does seem to change the formatting on the card to do this. Once this is set up the card will no longer be able to read by pc. You will either have to use a cable to transfer from the camera to the pc or use the sync function to move the pictures to your phone then to a pc if desired. There is stuff that says you can sync it with your pc wirelessly though I have not found a working version of this I trusted. I added a picture taken with the camera. I had to cut the image size down due to file size limitations. At full resolution files are about 10-12MB each. This has been resized to 65% to meet file size requirements

Camera is great for pictures, especially with the flash on. The video quality isn’t the best, but understandable since it’s not a vlogging camera. While recording it loses focus and it can be a little hard to refocus. Besides that the camera is portable and I’ve got lots of compliments on my pictures. Definitely recommend this if you’re thinking about purchasing it!

I love this camera. Perfect size and takes perfect pictures. I take it with me when I kayak because I could really zoom in the birds. Love it!!!!!

This camera is great for beginners and for bringing out to everything. I bring it with me everywhere and get the cutest photos. The camera has a Wi-Fi option so you can download the photos straight to your phone. However, I think if you wanted to use this camera for vlogging, I would recommend choosing something else because I feel that this camera is best for photos. The zoom is outstanding, and I can’t believe how close I can get to certain things.

Extremely excellent point and shoot for the price. Takes quality shots, the zoom is amazing, the 4k video is such a plus I'm very happy with this I wanted to start my photography journey with this point and shoot then move up to Dslr, Icle or mirrorless but also wanted a quality in my pocket quick point and shoot I got that and more with this camera I'm very pleased. As a beginner I'm already taking some great shots with this point and shoot.

really great camera!!! i took this camera when i saw luke hemmings and the photo can speak for itself!!! i love it ever so much and it really blew me away with the quality for the photos and videos!! plus the zoom is out of this world!! if you cant get the g7x i would highly recommend getting this one !!! easy to take anywhere with you and can get into venues because its a point and shoot!!! best purchase!!!!

I love how this camera can give a professional picture with a small case. It is everything I hoped for. Frames per second gives great pictures for baseball as well. I took a picture of the moon one evening that totally made it worthwhile.

This camera is good for a beginner. It’s very compact so you can take it with you wherever you go to capture the moment. It has a selfie mode in which the screen flips up so you can see yourself which is great. It’s not as easy to use for a beginner with all the different modes and settings, but a good video tutorial will help guide you through it. Overall, I recommend buying this for anyone wanting a compact and high quality digital camera.

Amazing Camera. This camera is a replacement of my Canon powerShot before this model..... I wanted this newer version because of the 40X Optical Zoom allows me to shoot far away object with clarity. The fast action shooting captures sooooo much action that I used for sports/birding/etc. So many features to use or just point and shoot atuo modes are great. R

Love this camera. I have a much larger Canon DSLR as well which isn't always practical in some places. This camera is easy, does in my purse and takes amazing shots.

This camera is awesome! I use it for hiking and it takes awesome clear zoomed pics and vids! These negative posts are from people who compare to big professional cameras. There is plenty of settings on here to do some tricky pics. The zoom is what attracted me and it is very stable in full zoom.

Bought camera for trip to Africa. Camera gets great pictures using optical zoom and good pics using digital zoom. I got many of the best pictures in my group with others using full size DSLRs. Auto focus can be slow at times in the video mode. Using a small tripod stick helped steady the small camera on long shots.

I really love this camera the pictures with flash are something else their amazing I really love it I take my cámara every where and also is very easy to use !! Do not think to much just buy it !!!

I am extremely please at the clarity and resolution I am getting with my images. The photo of my daughter jumping is over 75 yards away. The soccer pictures have quick movement and the ball is rolling. I shoot on the action mode for soccer. My low lighting shots weren't as great, as expected, but I am still please. The pink and blue shirt images were late in the day and it was overcast. The bird's tongue was lapping up the juice concoction and it came out wonderfully clear as well.

I swapped out another camera for THIS one and let’s just say I am so happy that I did! Has amazing features, WiFi for transferring photos. Makes the process so easy. A really good camera for its price point.

I needed a point and shoot that I could use to carry and photograph my daughter and the school band. They were actually performing in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Well, my seats were pretty high and I zoomed in and started clicking on sports mode. I was able to get memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for recommending this particular camera!

Canon - PowerShot SX740 HS 20.3 Megapixel Digital Camera - Black. Excellent sharp looking photos and videos. Zoom works well, shows close up details of subject. Macro setting takes sharp photos with excellent detail. I have taken MANY thousands of photos, as well as some wonderful videos of nature, including lightening storms, birds, and small animals, just to name a few things. I am very pleased with this camera.
