This is a great camera for a normal price. There is no need to buy anything more expensive for day to day use. The pictures are clear and vibrant!

I am an average Joe who when time permits insists on Digital Camera to take pictures. I think many cell phone cameras prettify pictures that I really hate. I have had Cannon's for a while so sort of biased towards canons. The flip screen is nice. Between this and my previous SXs, I say this one became just a little too big where sliding it in and out of my jeans pocket takes an effort. The ones before made it too easy to slide in pocket and carry.

The best point and shoot digital camera available. I had an older version of this camera, used in crawlspaces and attics for over 5 years! I am hoping this version lasts as long, if not longer!

The zoom lens is very impressive in regard to wide to full telephoto. The video quality is very satisfactory for the average need of most consumers and the small size of this camera makes it a great travel companion, especially when traveling on commercial airlines. I needed to do some time lapse videos and found this camera to be lackluster in regard to how long it was able to capture videos. I never was able to make a time lapse video lasting more than 30 seconds in duration because the battery does not have a lot of capacity. I also disliked the camera auto focus because it performed poorly in anything other than full sunlight. I returned this camera for a refund a few days after my purchase BUT for the average person needing a camera that had an extraordinary zoom lens and can capture both still images and video, this camera could easily fulfill those needs for vacations, family gatherings and quick shoots where cell phones lack the capabilities needed.

I love my new camera. I love the flip up screen and the video mode. Everything is straight forward and easy to operate.

This camera takes amazing pictures and with the WiFi option I can transfer them to my phone or computer

Easy to use if you keep all settings on automatic. Beautiful, sharp pictures with outstanding color. Don't forget to turn the flash on/pop up the flash.

Previously had Canon SX730 so I knew exactly what I was getting when I purchased this item. I personally rated 730 with five star, and knowing that I'll be getting a 4K video resolution with 740, no reason to rate it any lesser..already tested the capability of its 4K, and it is quite impressive. Overall, photo images are great as well..nothing to complain about with this baby//
