Love this camera. Thought I wanted a g7x but this camera is almost identical! The zoom power is great. Lots of setting. A very nice compact point and shoot.

Images come out crisp and with an airbrush-like effect, making the photos look lightly edited. As a baby photographer, I really enjoy the final result. The flip screen and Bluetooth app are incredible features missing from my Nikon DSLR. I enjoy using this camera on adventures, as it doesn’t require the same level of delicacy and care as my Nikon and it’s large detachable lense. 10/10 for this camera I love it and get to enjoy photography anywhere I am now!

I always thought that Canon cameras were great. And it was all true because when I have tried the Canon Powershot SX740 camera, I was surprised to see that the camera quality and the video quality is great. I think it’s pretty easy to use this amazing camera. I recommend you reading the manual book first before you start using the Canon Powershot SX740 camera for the first time. I am a beginner for photography and I think this camera is one of the best beginner Canon camera I own. I recommend this camera to everyone who is a beginner for photography.

I bought this camera to replace a Canon Rebel T6. I was mainly using that Canon to record my nephews jiu-jitsu competitions. Carrying the shoulder bag with the camera, lenses, extra batteries was getting old. And besides the competitions which would take place about once every 3 months, the camera would just on the shelf unused. I would not take the camera on trips specifically because of the bulkiness. I was not using the camera to its full potential. So I sold it and bought this camera. Unfortunately because of covid, there haven’t been any jiu-jitsu completions but i’ve taken several photos. The zoom is outstanding for a point and shoot. Small and easy to travel with.

I needed a new camera to replace my old old Canon camera and wanted something with a good optical zoom. This fit what I was looking for. It has great optical zoom for a point-and-shoot. It also has digital zoom capabilities beyond the optical zoom if you don’t mind decrease in clarity that comes With digital zoom. The hinged screen is a nice feature, but not as useful as the swiveling screen my old Canon had. The only complaint I have is that you have to manually deploy the flash when you want to use it even if you have it set to automatic. It isn’t a huge issue once you are used to it, but if your previous camera’s flash popped up automatically you may not like this.

Great camera and easy to carry with tons of extras and great long distance shooting, plus lots of great movie shots. Can do with little weight what much bigger and bulkier cameras can.

Very pleased with this purchase. The pucture quality exceeds my expectations and the zoom lens is amazing in such a compact unit. I wish the battery life was a little more robust, but I got a second battery and so far that's working out great. The app for my phone is a little tricky but works well once connected.

I have only used a few of the features available with this camera, but I have been impressed. I have used both the Bluetooth and WiFi connections to this camera with great success. I have used the app on my Samsung phone to control the camera for remotely taking pictures. The flip up display allows you view the picture from in front of the camera as you take family pictures, with you in them for a change. You can easily transfer the pictures to your phone via Bluetooth or WiFi. The pictures are high quality. The zoom is also excellent.

Image quality is pretty good to my eye and the 40x lens is ridiculous. When you're that zoomed in, you're going to have trouble keeping the shot steady with such a small and light camera. I'm a total air show junkie and was hoping this would work well for that kind of photography. Well, at this price point it was unreasonable to make that expectation. The autofocus can't keep up with something moving as fast as a jet at an air show. It did OK at an auto race with a bit of planning and pre-focusing. Battery lasts just fine and the user interface is pretty easy to navigate. It's a decent little camera, just be sure to calibrate your expectations against the price.

Though it was bought Nov 22, I didn't receive it until December 24th. My first impression, I was amazed how small it is. It fits beautifully in the small camera bag, including manual, both chargers, padded neck strap and micro cleaning cloth. It Seems to be well made, However, if you have big hands, or are sight challenged, you may not want this camera, The camera, as well as the controls are very small, Despite its size, it does take great pictures. The zoom on it is awesome. I like it a lot and would recommend it.

Excellant, especially for the price. the 40x zoom is a great feature. The only drawback is no viewfinder & that can be a problem , especially outdoors where the reflection in the screen causes me to shoot blind. But I'm overall very please with this little camera. "The best camera is the one that's in your hand" - the small size make it a easy carry.

This camera has amazing features for such a portable size! The zoom is amazing, the photo quality is great, and its size is perfect to take on trips and to concerts! It’s a great camera to have so I don’t have to only use my phone camera. I am so glad I purchased this.

I’ve used this camera for a couple years now and I love it. It’s great for daily use. Very user friendly. With low light and lots of motion it can be difficult to get quick high quality photos but I think that might be user error - still learning how to adjust the settings :)

Absolutely love this camera i bought this camera to take photos of my family when we have reunions, bbqs, birthday party’s and to take pictures of my son while he grows from being a new born. This camera is very easy to use I love that it connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a quicker down load and the quality of the pictures are perfect for the everyday thing and the flip screen is just an added bonus!!!

I purchased this prior to a 3 week cruise around the Baja, intending it to be a good lightweight camera for my wife to use while I used a Canon DSLR camera on our trip. As it turned out, she took some truly awesome photos of whales and other wildlife that rivaled the photos I took. And since then we’ve both used this camera on 2 other extended cruises in other parts of the world with truly excellent results and an ease to use.

Camera was great my son uses this all the time. He’s very happy with the purchase.
