I had a chance to try this out in San Diego and i loved it! It was small, easy to carry anywhere, with beautiful results. It has really good mics, but you can also input a microphone as well. It has a touch screen to track your subject. The built in stand means you can angle it in many perspectives. You can record horizontally or vertically in 4k and with the wireless connection, you can send these videos right to your phone or tablet. You can also live stream directly with your cellphone. With USB-C cable, you can charge it on the go! This is an awesome little camera!

All of the tik tok and vlogger tools are front and center features on this canon video centric camera. As someone who has used canon cameras for years and taken quite a bit of video on them in various formats, I welcome this new form factor. The built in stand, focus on connectivity, and flip around screen are all direct answers to problems experienced trying to use a nicer point-and-shoot or DSLR to record video. Right off the bat I was surprised that this camera seems to come kind of bare bones. No built in memory and no included memory card. Also no case, even a cheesy thin one. I had to cycle through my memory cards as this camera requires a minimum size, but it didn’t tell me that on the screen, it just kept insisting there was no card inserted, making me think there was something wrong. Canon really anticipated some of the video centric uses of this camera, and the ability to plug in an RTMP server has been coming in VERY handy when I want to use it to stream kids sports, and it has better resolution and usability than my phone can provide. Overall this is a foray into new territory and I don’t think Canon got it wrong, as they are blazing new ground. I am anticipating others to follow suit. This camera feels well
Made and is the usual canon mix of metal body and heavier plastics. All doors/covers fit with solid positive feel. The removable battery gives options for swapping and the usb C and mini HDMI ports let you use this camera in a variety of scenarios.

This little camera packs a punch. The first thing you notice is how small the camera is. It's compact, yet sturdy, and has a little weight to it.
Just starting out with basic video capabilities, having the monitor screen flip over and automatically orient itself is a simply, yet nice touch. The stand also flips out and stays in whatever position you set it. Of course, past about 90 degrees and the camera starts to tip over; but that's not a problem since it also includes a mounting hole on the bottom to screw in a standard mini tripod.
Quality-wise, I found the video to be quite good - at least for online video needs. The 4K video is good, but only goes to 30fps. FHD can do 60fps. The microphone is fantastic and really picked up my voice clearly.
What really ends up selling this camera is its versatility. I can use it as a modern-day camcorder, a webcam or a live streamer. Setting up this capability and sending to my video stream was simple, and there are enough menus to cover every need. There is also a companion app (isn't there always?) that lets you control the camera and access its files directly without having to remove the microSD card.
Speaking of microSD, be sure to get a decently fast one.
Overall I'm really happy with this camera. If I were to complain about anything, it's that I would have liked to see some small case come with it. The camera is so cute, yet highly functional, that it should come with some branded protection.

Gotta say, I'm conflicted about this camera. There are some good things about it, and some 'not so good' things. So while this digital camera has that trusted Canon brand name, it is a bit over-priced, in my opinion. Photos and videos are stored on a micro-SD card (not included).
Now, the two small speakers on top of the camera do what they're designed for, but don't expect amazing audio quality from them. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the visual quality of this Canon PowerShot V10. Plus, there's a selection of filters and color sliders (in the companion app) so you can customize your visuals with what the app has to offer.
There is a downloadable PDF user manual which explains how to navigate the menu screen and other options. I found this to be an invaluable learning tool for exploring all the features of this digital camera. The aforementioned Canon Camera Connect app allows you to try out a variety of customizations. I particularly liked using the remote control feature with my smartphone.
Although the touch screen is rather "tiny," it really is responsive. Even with the text being on the 'small side' to fit the screen, you are able to scroll through the menu options via the circular directional button on the backside of the camera. It did take me a bit of time fiddling around in the menus to find what I was looking for and figure out how to make the camera do what I wanted.
The surface of the camera itself has a nice matte texture which ensures a secure grip. There's a handy 'start/stop' button on the front side of camera, too. The built-in stand which folds down (and tucks away when not in use) is super convenient and provides the camera with a good solid base. Both the stand and screen can be adjusted to an optimal position for your filming and viewing needs.
There is a handy tripod mount on the bottom which is definitely a plus for those wishing to do live streaming, Vlogging, content creating, or even when taking the camera out to some other location beyond that of a home office, computer room, or studio.
This Canon PowerShot V10 is compact and portable. Perfect to carry in a purse, backpack, or pocket. While anyone who uses a smartphone has the capability to take pictures, record video, and upload that content to different social media platforms, this digital camera is made specifially for doing so and has features to make that all the more fun and easy.

This small package packs a punch!
If you're an aspiring content creator or just looking for a travel-friendly camera to accompany you on a trip, this is the one to look at! It records up to 4k video at 30 FPS and the microphone quality is good overall. Its small footprint is perfect for bringing it along and having it handy. I had no trouble tossing it in my bag or keeping it in my pocket. You can use a tripod with it, but it has a handy little stand that pops out from the camera itself. I found it to be quite sturdy.
The image quality is crisp and the screen flips up so you can have the camera pointed at yourself and see what's in the shot. This is perfect for selfies or vlogging. The screen is also touchscreen and the menus are easy to navigate through. However, my favorite feature is using the camera as a webcam. It is so versatile and easy to use.
Overall, I'm satisfied with what this camera brings to the table. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to become a content creator or someone who enjoys capturing moments on the fly.

I am a newer vlogger and was excited to try out the Canon - Power Shot V10 4 K Video 20.9 Megapixel digital camera. The camera is the perfect portable size. It comes with a "kickstand" that will held the camera up on a table or something like that for shooting which I found very handy. It is also able to connect to most tripods. The Canon app which you download from your phone's App Store greatly enhances the usability of this camera. It can take still photos as well as video which can come in very handy. You can operate the camera via the app once you get it set up and connected. I found that the battery lasts a little bit less than a hour on a full charge so don't expect to shoot a movie or anything with this. Short videos it will do a great job. The microphone did a great job picking up sounds. The camera is able to record in different resolutions as well. The only negative about the camera is that it does not come with a micro SD card, which is required to get nearly any use out of the camera. It will not update its firmware out of the box without a card being inserted. The card was quite difficult to get into the camera, especially with my stocky fingers. Overall this is a very good beginner camera and will do what most novices need it to with little training needed. Intuitive set up. The quick start and documentation booklet that come with the camera are really quite pointless, the print is so small that it is very difficult to read but there are plenty of videos and manuals in larger print available on Canon's website.

The Canon - PowerShot V10 4K Video 20.9-Megapixel Digital Camera is a great little webcam for beginners. It's smaller than my cellphone, easily fits in a pocket and really just reminds me of a flip phone, as it has a very similar form factor. I ran into a few snags during setup while adding it to my network. I found using the WPS button to be the easiest solution when adding to your wifi network. Set up is as simple as downloading the app to your phone and setting up any kind of streaming from there. I used Twitch for testing while streaming content. I don't use a boom mic when doing streams but I may need to with this device if I'm not right next to it. I tried using this in different areas with good lighting/bad lighting and with other audio in the background. It does a good job picking up my voice but without an external microphone it's lacking in that department. The good thing about this is if you're sitting at a PC/game console and it's within 2 feet of you, the sound is good. Lighting is another issue. In darker rooms the image quality does go down, I solved this with just having some ambient lighting in the room. I really enjoy this camera and look forward to traveling to and streaming with it while on the road.

I bought this camera to start vlogging from instead of using my phone and honestly l couldn’t get the hang of it there was no way for me to zoom in when l was vlogging also l couldn’t adjust the color it was too dark when l was inside my house so l returned it. If your not going to vlog from this camera then l would say go for it

I am giving this a one star review because best buy never delivered my product. It’s been over a month and they decided to not give me a refund or give me a replacement for the camera that I ordered
