Works as expected - charged up, held up to the day of shooting, and I see no differences with the battery that came with my Canon R6. All in all a bit pricey for a battery, but for genuine parts on expensive gear I prefer to stick with the name brand.

The man who sold me an extra OEM canon battery for my 5d Mk iii, i forgot his name, was also an avid photographer. We clicked instantly as we were both into the same hobbies. He was awesome. Ive been shooting for over 25 years and was filling his head with tips and dreams to the equipment out there in todays technologies. He was a young man and didnt have much experience in the photography world, but that is common bc of his age. Bestbuy in South Setauket has these younger generation who always seem to have conversation and interest for whatever im trying to buy. Such a splendid experience everytime i go there. I connect very well with those workers.. Most importantly, he wasnt pushy on sales, thats a big no no consodering i went there for a certain product. Awesome work crew..

Whenever possible, I always purchase OEM batteries. I know off-brand batteries are usually cheaper, but they're typically also lower quality, usually don't keep the charge as long and eventually become worthless. Also, with Li-Ion batteries, it makes more sense to buy a safe one instead of risking a fire. As expected, this one holds its charge and is indistinguishable from the one that came with my camera.

Nothing compares to a Canon battery for my Canon camera. This battery outperforms all others. It charges quickly and last longer than othe batteries that compete in the same space.

We used these on a canon r6 this month one battery lasted for 90% of the 8hr shoot capturing short b-roll clips but nonstop. Pricey but a major upgrade from previous versions. We also used these for photography on r5/r6 nonstop(jpeg only) and swapped out twice. The good thing is they last longer so by the time one dies the other is fully charged again during our uses. Everyones experience will vary of course these Speed up workflow rather than buying the older cheaper ones

I bought this as an extra battery for my Canon R6. Canon made this battery with more power for it's mirrorless cameras. Works well and is of good quality.

A battery with great battery life. Works as intended. I only need to swap once for a whole day of filming.

Nothing like the name brand batteries! Worked well for me as my backup for shoots! Lasts a good while as well.

Well worth the money over a generic battery. As someone who has multiple canon batteries and off brand as well, the charge on this battery lasts 4X as long as my off brand ones. I can get though a whole day of sessions or use it on multiple different days, without the worry of it quickly losing it charge. My camera seems to function better when it's being used as well!

Needed a replacement/spare battery for my Eos R and this should provide more shots per charge then the non-H version as well as future proof if I upgrade to an R5/R6. I would never buy an off brand battery, the risk is too high to my $2000 camera to save $40 ish dollars

Brand name battery just seems to hold battery life better and charge much better. Don’t settle for knock off brands.

As a Canon EOS R owner, we were interested in a second battery--and one that has a little more "juice" per charge. This battery is a great answer. We knew this battery was built for the R5 and R6 cameras, but this battery works beautifully in the R. It must be charged in the battery charger that comes with the camera--which isn't a big deal because that's how we always charged the other battery. Even though third-party vendors sell compatible batteries, we have tended to feel like the Canon batteries last longer and do a slightly better job.

Great battery! Arrived quickly and charged fast. It held a charge under extensive, constant use for about 4 hours with the R6.

Great to have a backup battery! I sometimes forget to turn off my camera for like 2 days and this battery still has plenty of battery left! I’m not sure that would be the case for other brands. Definitely worth paying for the quality. I’ve left the camera on with this battery and did a 3 mile hike, drove 2.5 hrs to another hike for 4 miles and did not need to change the battery.

A genuine canon battery for my DSLR. This one has a higher capacity than the one that came with my DSLR (LP-E6N). Works fine with my Canon 90D. Yes, these are expensive, but worth the price for reliability and longevity. My genuine batteries for my old camera from Canon still work perfectly albeit slightly less capacity than new but that's expected with rechargeable batteries over time. If you only have a single battery, by a spare like this one instead a random third party battery for peace of mind.
