They last so much longer than the offbrand versions. Only have 2 batteries and they’ll last me 3-4 hours of constant shooting each.

Best battery for your Canon camera

A genuine canon battery for my DSLR. This one has a higher capacity than the one that came with my DSLR (LP-E6N). Works fine with my Canon 90D. Yes, these are expensive, but worth the price for reliability and longevity. My genuine batteries for my old camera from Canon still work perfectly albeit slightly less capacity than new but that's expected with rechargeable batteries over time.
If you only have a single battery, by a spare like this one instead a random third party battery for peace of mind.

This is the latest version battery for my 80D Canon. There are tons of gray/black market batteries out there that claim similar or even better specs. I've read not to trust them. This is the battery you want. When this was shipped to my house, the box was completely wrapped in security tape so it was pretty obvious i got the real thing. The holographic sticker on the battery is a good indicator of authenticity as well.

LP-E6 has 1800 mAh.
LP-E6N has 1865 mAh.
LP-E6NH has 2130 mAh.
These are all OEM Canon brand and is good.
Since LP-E6NH has 2130 mAh. it should last a longer than older model and I am still using LP-E6 which is 10 years old without much degradation.

The camera won't allow knock offs so this a must. However it holds its charge for a long time. I haven't tested it in heat or cold, but for a beautiful spring day or inside, its great.

Product battery works perfectly fine with my Canon R6. I prefer the canon batteries compared to 3rd parties because I noticed with 3rd party ones, it doesn’t show the actual battery life and will show full when it’s very much low. Although it is triple it’s price.

I've always used Canon brand batteries in my DSLR cameras and now that I've moved to mirrorless the same is true. No need to find a cheaper option because many times you get what you pay for! Great battery as expected!

upgraded to a pair of these in a battery grip on my 5D MK3. I brought extra batteries to an all day shoot and never came close to needing them.
These noticeably outperform the stock batteries and future proff for with I upgrade to the R5.

Yes, these are expensive batteries but so was the R6 or R5 you are using it with. Especially in the case of the R5 these batteries are essential to get 20 fps. Don't trust knock-offs. They'll let you down every time, dying a sudden death right when that bald eagle scoops up a fish in front of you. D'oh!

Using and EOS R5 and R6, the ability for high speed shooting is only available when batteries are well charged. That is why I depend on my LP-E6NH batteries and use the grip. While these are a little more expensive then other Canon or third party batteries they never let me down. Shooting action sports and wildlife I need that dependency in the field.
