Keep this charged to prolong its lifespan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While these are good great batteries, you must keep them charged to extend ther life, This was my experience from not using my R6 for almost a year since I only use it for major events. I had to purchase brand new batteries since all my batteries of this type haven't been used or changed in that period of time.

Yes, you can save buying third-party but I’d rather buy once. Haven’t had a Canon battery go out on me during a shoot but decided to pick up extras.

The real thing to keep the charge

Because of the higher price, sometime the original Mfgs will produce the original batteries under another name for a lower price because the market is there. But trying to connect the two is difficult.

Great long-lasting option for EOS R!

Lasts longer than the original Canon LP-6N batteries, so I have to swap them out less when on shoots!

To get the most out of the newer canon cameras, you need to have these updated batteries for the best frame rate in photographing and also they just last longer than the old ones did.

Also tried an off brand battery and it lasted a very short time. One instance where it is better to go with the manufacturers brand.
