Now that I have it, I'm totally pleased. It works wonders with my Canon R5. One of the best things is that no one else had 'em in stock . . .not even Canon. But Best Buy said that it'd be on my doorstep in 2 days. They were right. Shipping was fantastic.

Worth it!

Canon continues to innovate in their line of mirrorless lenses. Super crisp, super easy to use, super expensive, but as a professional I say super worth it. Also, even though it’s a telephoto lens, it’s surprisingly good at macro photography.

High Quality Glass at a Price

Fast, accurate autofocus (with R7). Tracks eyes, birds in flight, etc. Far less weight than you would expect. 100-500 is a great range (especially with crop sensor body). Expensive, but high quality, lens.

Worth the investment for sports photography

Can't go wrong with this type of investment to capture kids in sports. The lens is very light to use without a tripod.

When its good its very good, when bad...

Trying different camera setting to fix it. When it focuses properly it is extremely sharp, when it doesn't its very soft and grainy. Returned the first lens because of a defect. This is the second lens. I've owned and used Canon cameras and lenses for years and this is the first problem lens I have encountered.

Great lens just not for me.

Amazing Lense

Canon Rf 100 -500 lens

Ordered item on Friday and received on Tuesday. Alot of people have been waiting 3 to 4 months for availability from big camera stores
