Great zoom lens

I wish it was a little lighter, but it seems all quality lenses are heavy. Overall, though, I love it.

Excellent Quality

We used it during our recent Yellowstone National Park visit. The images from it are sharp. Amazing stabilization. I used it for some short video clips hand-held.

Good lens overall

Been using the lens for about two weeks now primarily for shooting wildlife. Works well as long as there is a reasonable amount of light. Not good for taking pics at dusk when fully extended but that’s not surprising……Also tough to pack if you add the 1.4 extender.

amazing eye focus and auto tracking

I use this lens for nature, mainly bird and butterfly pictures. The auto focus tracking is out of this world :) Took me a minute to figure out if you just wait (less than a second it locks on to the eye) the you hold auto focus and it tracks it.

Best wildlife lens ever

The bokah, colors and details are so awesome. I recommend everyone having the budget to buy this lens. It is for a reason that it is labelled as an L lens.

Great lens that doesn't totally break the bank

It's really upped my game, and I'm able to take advantage of all the great wildlife we have here in Florida. I highly recommend this lens & the Canon R6 Mark II.

Nice Lens

Wide open at 500mm, it is incredibly sharp. The autofocus coupled with an R6 and R7 is amazing. The only reason i gave it 4 stars is the price. Rival camera companies seem to be selling their equivalent at much less.
