    This lens is amazing for photographing college football, I have been able to reach the other side of the field and get crystal clear photos I am using this lens with the canon r6 body

    I have never had a lens over 250 mm zoom before, so I love having the ability to bring things in closer. I wish it was a little lighter, but it seems all quality lenses are heavy. Overall, though, I love it.

    Was shooting with the EF 600mm is L Series lens and at about 30lbs it was as beast in a backpack... This baby is about 3lbs and is a run and gun superstar.

    Excellent Canon lens. We used it during our recent Yellowstone National Park visit. The images from it are sharp. Amazing stabilization. I used it for some short video clips hand-held.

    Good lens overall. Been using the lens for about two weeks now primarily for shooting wildlife. Works well as long as there is a reasonable amount of light. Not good for taking pics at dusk when fully extended but that’s not surprising……Also tough to pack if you add the 1.4 extender.
