Wish I coud give it 4 1/2 stars. Excellent lens, outside price it's hard to complain about much, but I will, for this price it should be perfect. -Sharp, fast, good range, what more could I ask for? I very much would of loved it to go even wider, maybe 14 or even 12. This is part of their "holy Trinity" as in it pairs with their 24-75, so the overlap seems unnecessary and could have been put to better use at 12-14 range. Maybe they had a hard time keeping it as sharp at the lower mm's? Regardless we do not have many options for the RF mout system just yet and the lens does indeed live up to canons typical excellent build quality,

    Amazing RF Lens!

I upgraded from a Canon EOS 7D Mark II to a spiffy mirrorless R6, intending to use my collection of EF-mount lenses via an adapter. I found that my ultrawide lens was made for crop-sensor cameras, so it wasn't giving me the full range. Plus, RF lenses bring benefits like improved IS (coordinating between the lens' IS and the sensor IS in the camera), faster shutter speed, and the control ring. I thought this 15-35mm would be a good replacement for my old 11-16mm, offering just as much width at the short end but more versatility on the long end. So far so good--the lens is solid, wonderfully sharp, with zippy autofocus and all the expected RF benefits. Absolutely loving it! Pricey but worth it.

This lens is amazing! It's not nearly as heavy as the new 28-70 and captures amazing wide views! It can capture almost a 180* angle for ultra wide photos - great for so many uses! Additionally, the zoom ability to a 35 mm makes it great to use for family portraits. and of course the F2.8 allows one to take great pictures in low light conditions. Love, Love!

It's a good addition to your camera gear. 15-35 mm allows you to take beautiful landscape and skyline photos. You can even get creative and shoot people as well. RF lenses are expense but this zoom range makes it good addition versatile. The other lens I like is RF 28-70mm f/2.0.

This lens is widely regarded as a must for video shooters, but Using it for stills Has resulted in some of my favorite shots yet with the EOS R. The 82mm filter thread coincides well with the RF 70-200. This is a sharp lens. My only ding is tharI find the IS switch little too easy to move. Still, I’d buy it again!

Excellent lens, replaced my EF 16-35 with this after upgrading to the R6. I had the adapter with the newest EF 16-35 but this one is way sharper and the is complete with ibs of the R6 makes it a no brainer. I've put it to the test in 11 countries and from the freezing temps in the desert at night in Vegas to the tropical rain forest in Dominica. Hasn't let me down yet!

Amazing lens. RF glass is hard to beat. Perhaps fujifilm is the only one, especially at a much better price point if you want to be on a different camera system. But with canon you don’t have many options. I use the lens more for cinematography and less for photography which is why the f/2.8 version of the lens was better than the f/4 version. If you’re doing landscapes and interior you probably don’t need f/2.8 since you likely aren’t shooting wide open often.

Great if you need a wide zoom lens with F2.8. Wider aperture does make it fairly heavy and large

If you have upgraded to the mirror less Canon bodies, this is a premier lens for landscape photography! But perfection comes at a price! In order to appreciate this lens, a good knowledge of photographic principles is a must! The only issue I have discovered is using square filter systems for neutral density, graduated ND, and circular polarizers. The extra width at 15mm could cause vignetting with 100mm filter systems.

It's a great lens for wide shots. Love using this for both photo and video needs. While it's not as heavy as the 28-70mm f2 RF lens, its build quality is nice and is still a little hefty. It's not a cheap lens for sure.
