I’m liking the idea of having the 3rd customizable ring on these lenses. Very handy in my opinion. So far I’m using it for changing the ISO while recording video but it’s customizable to aperture and shutter speed I believe.

I bought this lens new online while it was at a 100 off discount. However, when I received the lens, I received an open box item. In other words, an used Canon RF 24-105 mm lens while I paid 1299 plus tax. When I went to the store to exchange it, they told me I would be charged a restocking fee of 15%. So now Im stuck with an used lens after I paid for a new one. Again, its not my fault I got a used len, but still Im being charged a 15% restocking fee. Thanks Best buy!

I'm not sure what was sent to me. I paid for a new lens. The item was not packaged in a Canon box and it is unclear if the lens is refurbished or new. I paid the cost of a new lens and there is no reason why they would have shipped it without the Canon packaging. The description stated that an instruction manual was included but this was not true. I'm done with Best Buy and will never use their services again

An upgrade over the older 24-105mm lens. The range I feel is perfect for so many conditions, especially travelling. It hit's all the right spots. While it may not be as good as it's prime counterparts, only needing one lens instead of 3 definitely helps with space and weight. Many newcomers might be intimidated by the price. You might not notice the difference in quality when looking at small jpeg images on facebook with your phone, but when you start getting to 8x10s are larger, the L lenses are definitely a leap above the lower models. If you're worried about the high price tag, it's worth it in the long run if you are serious about photography. Don't buy cheap lenses with the plan to upgrade, just save up for the good ones from the get go.

I’ve been able to capture some decent shots with this lens paired with my Canon EOS R. I’m still learning the in’s & out’s about my camera + lenses, but I’m having fun (along with some frustrations) shooting!
