Nifty 50
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It feels very high quality for the price you paid. Highly recommend having this lens in your camera bag or on your camera all the time. Paired it with the Canon EOS RP. Super lightweight. Easy to use. Mounts perfectly. Doesn't make your camera look bulky like other 50 mm. Nifty 50 is a stable.

Get yourself this lens right now
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is one of the best lens purchases I've ever made. The price is so reasonable, the lens is so tiny, and the sharpness of the glass and quality is phenomenal. Whenever I use this lens the photos are excellent. I wish Canon made more of these reasonable lenses! Also, Best Buy shipped this right away and it came within just 2 days.

Excellent
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Canon 50mm Lens Review I recently bought the Canon 50mm lens, and I have to say — it’s been an excellent investment, especially for portrait photography. The lens is fantastic for capturing people up close with beautiful sharpness and a soft, creamy background. I’ve already used it for three senior picture sessions, and the results have been outstanding. The images come out crisp, with great color and depth. It's also really lightweight and easy to carry around during longer shoots. Focusing is quick and accurate, even in different lighting conditions. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality lens for portraits, the Canon 50mm is an amazing choice. Highly recommended!

The MUST HAVE lens for RF mount shooters
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is everything I expected it to be. I had tge old EF version and I lived it but after upgrading my body to the R6 I felt it was easier to get the native mount to cut out the adapter. The lens produces nice clean images and gives nice bokeh for the price. 200.00 is a steal!

Canon RF 50 mm F1.8 STM Lens…excellent lens
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Canon RF 50 mm F1.8 STM Lens was the first lens I purchased for my R5 and I couldn’t have been happier with the performance and value it offers. It renders beautiful images out of my R5. I really like the snappy auto focus and light weight of the lens. It’s a great lens to start off with mirrorless and also a great backup if you already own the RF 50 1.2 USM. I highly recommend!

Great lens for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought my first real camera, so I'm not a photographer by any means. Based on a suggestion from a YouTube video that this is one of three lenses that are a must for the EOS R50, this is the first one I bought (other than the kit lens) due to the low price. I love this lens. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Luscious blur, but where you want it, in the back.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s hard to get crazy bokeh for cheap and there’s nothing better than the nifty fifty aka 50 1.8 (made by literally all 4 camera brand giants). It does suffer from its issues mostly being chromatic aberration and softness at wide open but the bokeh is just *chefs kiss*. I always recommend this lens after a general zoom lens (18-55, 24-105, etc). You can’t go wrong for the price point.

A lens that everyone needs to have
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the cheapest lens for FR line of lens. It is similar to its EF version in most function but sell $75 dollars more. Every Canon shooter knows about EF version, and we know how it is like. The FR version is slightly better than the EF in macro, and sharpness. There are couple minor issues that bother me. First of all If you have LENS DRIVE WHEN AF IMPOSSIBLE turned on, it will hunt for focal point when you turn it on with lens cover. Secondly there is noticeable chromatic aberration on photo. However, this is the lens that everyone needs to have for spare lens.
