This is a dye sublimation printer (does not use ink cartridges) that produces excellent color prints and provides an option menu to make adjustments to color, density, etc. The printer can so 4x6 prints and other sizes (multiples per page) as well. The paper and "ink" comes in a package that will produce exactly 108 prints per package. Each "ink" and paper set will produce 18 prints. Then you need to reload the printer for 18 more--reloading is simple! Each print is done by 4 passes through the printer (3 colors and a clear coat). The process is a little slow, and the paper/ink package can be expensive (check Amazon for better pricing). But, the printer is well-made and the results are very good.

We love this printer as both my kids and myself connected to it via Wi-Fi and can now print photos at will from anywhere in the house. It was easy to set up and get working. Pictures come out great.

Easy to use and set up. You can print from your phone via wi-fi. This printer also allows you to use an SD card to print your photos. The quality of the pictures are great.

Very happy with the quality of the photos it prints. Easy setup, easy to use, and looks good. The one downside is that it's not that easy to create collages using the app - the app is quite bulky, not integrated, and not so intuitive.

I love this little printer it's cute and easy to work

I chose the Selphy over some other products because of the Choice of sizes. Unfortunately you cannot print all sizes from your phone on Wi-Fi. Being able to print directly from my phone is what I was looking for. Unfortunately printing a 2 x 3 from your phone is not an option you must use a USB card or download pictures to your computer.

This is the best photo printer I had in a long time. It small and portable, and it works like a pro. The picture don't smear after printing.

This printer far exceeded my expectations. It print great photos for its price. Yes it’s not professional quality. But it works for what I need. I had no problem connecting this printer to my iPhone. I use the app and works well. I only have two complaints. To print preview does not always accurately show what actually gonna be printed on the paper. Somethings print below and above the tabs that you think it’s actually gonna be printed. Second is there is no way to make pictures that are to big as shown on print preview to adjust to make sure what’s printed.

I loved my CP1200 so much I upgraded to this newer model. Easy to operate and produced quality pictures you could only get from the store back in the day.

This printer is excellent. Not only is it small & super easy to use, the pictures also come out bright & sharp. I would definitely recommend this item.

Our daughter loves this, especially that it is small enough to take with her when needed. She loves taking pictures and printing them out right away, and the ease with which she can print from her phone.

This printer has everything you want to be able to print great photos remotely and even without a power source. Such an amazing opportunity to take it with and print photos for family and friends.

I really love what you get with this printer. Best value for home printing use. Love the newer added features. Permanent prints yield excellent color and detail. I've bought 4 of this Canon Selphy printer over the years. I don't like the lack of driver updates and cartridge redesigns are used as a way to force me to buy a new print Canon. Once you purchase it...You will fall in love with the image quality and value.

I took this printer to kids camp and was able to print pictures from my Iphone. Good picture quality. It did not come with the ink or paper(had to purchase separately). I like the compact size.
