Works well not too bad on battery life good quality

My flash broke the day of a wedding and this was my only option at Best Buy that day. Although the flash was great when it worked it tended to get hot and need time to cool off after about an hr. I was shooting inside at night so it was annoying to have to take it off for it to cool down and take out the batteries that get like were on fire.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality. I use a diffuser with this. The only thing is, it drains the batteries pretty quickly so be sure to have some extras.

The 430 EX iii is an affordable & portable option for brilliant flash at close focal lengths. Perfect for indoor photography with max aperture primes in particular which allows for lower ISO settings. With a maximum zoom output of 105 mm it does have its limits in distance but is the perfect small & light option for close portraits

My son works as a photographer at a well known theme park and has been building his outfit to freelance based on the knowledge learned on the job. This model provided the options he liked for ease of use and to make manual settings as well. The hot shoe mounting was an important feature as well.

I had to find out for myself that it is indeed compatible with Canon eos M5...haven't taken any portraits just yet but im sooo happy i made this purchase

I had broken my old flash and needed a new one to shoot a wedding in AZ. Right out of the box, with a quick glance at the instructions and loading the batteries I went to work. Perfect exposures, no problems, easy to use and highly recommendable to everyone. I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

Although the 430 EX III-RT is not the top of the line when it comes to speedlites, it's one of the best you can get. Easy to set up, screen is easy to navigate, manual and E-TTL are both excellent. Highly recommend this speedlite.

Already having a Canon 600 Flash I wanted something a little smaller and lighter for travel but didn't' want to loose too much power. This fits the need perfectly. I can now travel with one camera, one lense and this flash and cover anything I encounter. It also acts as a send flash with the 600.

Great Speedlite. Has all the features I need, feels durable and love that it is smaller than previous ones I have owned.

This little light can come through in a pinch if you need some extra light in dark places.

You will be surprised how many options this speedlite has and capabilities. For good pictures it's all about the lighting

This flash closet me about $300 dollars and it works great. Comes with nice bag for keeping it safe and scratch free and a stand so you can use it detached from the body. I would recommend this for someone who wants to start using a flash and learn more about photography.

A perfect size on-camera flash for event and portrait photography. Compact, but great coverage. I had used an older model, which had a difficult to open battery compartment. This problem has been resolved in the Canon - Speedlite 430ex Iii-rt External Flash.
