It took pictures that were otherwise useless because my old flash just wasn't working well enough and made them look outstanding. I shoot basketball and without a great flash the pictures come out way to dark with the poor lighting and all the movement.

This flash is an awesome unit with performance second to none. Ultimately I would like a couple of these for alternative lighting and off camera flash photography. I will definitely get the same model again.

I needed a Speedlite with more output than the 430 ex II I had for event photography. My 430 would have to be turned way up and then the batteries would get hot and it wouldn't fire. This flash has a lot of super fancy features, but I just needed the power. I got what I wanted.

The flash is reliable and can be used as a master or slave. However there are alot of bells and whistles - if you need all of that go for it!

I bought this product a few days before a week-long photography job knowing a lot about cameras/flashes, but very little about this specific flash. Hands down was amazing. biggest thing is to make sure you are buying professional grade AA batteries or professional rated AA rechargeables (higher mA rating). I used this heavily for days and only needed to change batters once a day (about every 200 - 300 flashes).

This Flash works great as a master with my 580ex and no more line of site using the IR. Very happy with my purchase.

I use 3 of these for location photography. The are powerful and recharge quickly. The ETTL works flawlessly!

This was a much needed purchased for myself to be able to take full advantage of projects I wanted to do. The Speedlite is a delight to use. Very responsive and well made. It is quite durable. A bit pricey however. Could be a little lower for it to be fair purchase.

I had the 580 and now I bought the 600 and is a lot better than the 580 highly recommed

Before I bought this Canon Speedlite, I read a lot of reviews. I've been a Canon fan and I think this is the best speedlite from Canon so far. It's very powerful, reliable and it has more features than what I need. I will enjoy taking sharp pictures for sure with my Canon 5Diii and my new Canon speedlite 600EX.

The best flash for Canon...there is no substitute. Especially bought from Best Buy!

This is my second unit and it increases my creative setups! I have a 7D and a Speedlite transmitter or radio popper is not needed. I use the built in radio transmission to link flashes. I have the master on a sync cord to get it away from the camera. The slave is linked by radio letting me move the unit down halls, behind walls, outside windows, etc. The money saved not needing a transmitter allowed me to get the most powerful flash. Units are controlled right on the camera! Spend the money and get the best - dependable and powerful!

It is kind of heavy in weight, but it’s the best flash so far.

This is a great product. It is very easy to install. The lighting on the flash is extremely powerful. I love this product very much. I highly recommend this product to others that are into photography.

I love the fact that it has wireless sync built in but on the expensive side.

I have two of these and wont by any other. They have never let me down
