if you take professional pictures, you should buy it

I love the fact that you can sync these flashes together without the use of a transmitter/receiver. I have noticed the ETTL is very consistent and lighting is very even. I am very happy with this flash.

This flash unit is especially useful when paired with the wireless transceiver. There's a pretty big learning curve since there are so many features, but it's well worth the effort.

The Canon 600 packs a punch. It is more powerful than the 430 and has many options in the controls

Needed a new flash or two or three the would be usable wirelessly. These are spot on. Easy to use, ok, read the manual several times but outstanding flash.

Just what I need for my wedding photography business. Sure to light up those dark receptions. Also, fast recycle rate and added dust/water resistance. Eats batteries tho :/

This flash is awesome, I've used all the speedlites Canon has to offer. And this light is very intuitive. Very easy to use.

I used the flash for the 1st time to take pictures at my cousin's wedding. Although I really didn't know much about using it, it was easy and the pictures turned out great!

Excellent speedlight. It's pricey, but you'll not need to upgrade anytime soon since this is the top of the line.

I have several of these and I love that I can control each one from my camera. They NEVER miss fire like others that I have used.

Very powerful and a great on camer flash. Also can function well as an off camera location Stroh and works well with modifiers. My only problem is that the unit cannot opporate in radio remote and optical master at the same time. Unless you use separate wireless remotes be prepared to purchase more units to take full advantage of the internal remote feature.

Purchased this flash for a sorority event as I was not sure my current flash could handle it. This handled a few dark situations and I love it !

I was so excited to be getting this flash but as soon as I took it out of the box it wouldn't even turn on. I tried changing the batteries a bunch of times and finally got it to turn on after reading canon reviews on this camera with people having the same issue. I haven't had any problems since but was not a good first impression.

There is a bit of a learning curve but once you figure it out this flash works great and is very reliable!
