This is a great camera! Its hd quality is outstanding!

Not much to report yet. Seems to be good. Very high rated product, so I went for it.

I bought this camera in efforts to use it in a live setting. I used it mainly indoors, and the reason I returned it was that the zoom function was not that great. At a distance of about 150 feet, you would get a distorted image. I would say that if you are trying to shoot video NOT dependent on the zoom function, then buy this! If you need to record from a distance and need to use the zoom, then consider another more expensive option. However, I must say that its great at night! I took some video at night downtown and the capital, and the results were TV quality.

A little outdated in that it won't shoot 1080p, only 1080i, but other than that, a nice better than average camera. I returned it and spent the money for the g40, since I am using it for more professional applications.

My husband bought this camera to take during photo shoots for a start up company he works for. It has proven to be very user friendly and he's been happy with the purchase.

Camera was bought for Preschool use. Varied user types so it needed to be a simple record and go. Has worked great for projects being recorded of the classes and students.

Not a videographer by any means, but purchases this camcorder primarily to record our newborn daughter as she grows. This camera has very nice features, many of which will take time to explore and figure out, but I purchased this camera based on it's excellent reviews, and think it's great so far! The HD video looks awesome on our 56" HDTV.

it is just above a beginner camera. The lens is good and allows plenty of lighting in. Good image. Not videographer quality, but adequate for basic video.
