This is the best camcorder I've found for the price has several options to make your experience the best it can be Have had this since the middle of December I am using this for recording in my church

So far this is a great camera. Easy to use and easy to carry around.

It films in 1080p. The zoom is excellent. Has a little shadowing at the edges sometimes which is common for cameras in this price range. Overall, it does what I need it to do at a price I could afford.

I have nothing but good things to say about this item. Video quality superb. Photos are awesome. It's super light fitting into the palm of your hand. You can send your photos/vid over wifi, direct to facebook/twitter/etc.

Works great. Easy zoom in and out for those shots from the stands. Love the resolution. Must buy a card for memory and storage, you’ll want one anyway.

This lightweight camera is a high quality and economical recorder. We use it to record our dance studio shows and performances. Easy to use and travel with.

This camera takes very nice videos. It’s light and easy to use. The sound could be better. The wi-fi feature is terrible. Had to go on you tube and review videos with instructions how to use it but still didn’t work, Canon failed in this area, I have Nikon camera with wi-fi it worked right away, simple to use for photographs. If you want this feature for videos, try someone else.

It's my first camera for class. And while recording and taking pictures i reconize how a good camera looks like. When i watch videos from other phones, i didn't think nothing much of a video quality till i started using my camers. I started exploring the setting, and some of it is really neat to play around. Like drawing pictures on the screen and videroing at the same time. Dropped it once, didn't break :/. Having tried the steaming thing. It has a htmi cable. And a lot of wiredls for a lot if plug in thing. The stance it cool. Has 15.5 GB without my memory card in.

Bought the camera for live Facebook. have not actually used it yet for Facebook. Very handy size and easy to use for quick recording.

This camera is easy to use and has good quality. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because the screen is extremely small.

I originally was going to use my DSLR for video, but it was lacking in some major areas, like no auto zoom, focus and head phone monitoring. So, I needed a video camera. I didn't want a huge one, like the old days, but still needed all the functions. The VIXIA HF R80 is small, but has mic input, headphone jack, manual & auto functions. So, it does everything I need. The only thing missing is the hot shoe and that is reason for 4 stars. To use an external mic I had to get an L bracket. which I did. All working great!
