Great Camcorder

The picture quality almost seemed a toss-up when compared to the similar Sony model. However, the Canon offered outside sound mic access and Sony did not. The Sony offered light bar attachment and the Canon did not. Liked the stabilization in the Canon better. One thing, however, lacking for the Canon was the 200+ page owners manual was only available on line.

For the price, it’s acceptable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t regret this purchase with the price range it’s in, and still use the product, but if you want bleeding edge video quality, keep on searching. Otherwise this is a nice reliable camera. Note: hdmi output is a mini hdmi. So if you want to connect to a capture card or TV, you’ll need a mini hdmi to regular hdmi adapter, or an hdmi cable that already has mini on on end and regular on the other.
