This video camera is awesome and I absolutely love this item!! It has very clear video and the zoom on this camera is unbelievable. I have used it several times and have had no issues. It is very wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I also purchased the additional service plan for 3 years which is always a good suggestion on electronic items as you never know what might happen in the future. It does come with the 1 year manufacturers warranty but it never hurts to have extra protection Overall it is an excellent camera and I have been wanting this one for over a year now but finally decided to get it and can say I am truly satisfied with its functions. I also purchased SanDisk - Extreme PLUS 64GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card for recordings. Be sure to check out the great deals on the memory cards while there.

Has a lot of nice features including the capability to adjust the recording volume level manually which is great for recording live music in a loud place. The video quality is very good too with the best video at the 60p setting. Great for the price. If you are very particular about the video quality, you might want to look at some of the higher priced HD camcorders in the $1000 range but for most general purpose vacation or family videos this camcorder should be fine.

Love the picture and ease of use. Flip out screen is cool and video quality is solid. Not the best in low light but to be expected in a little camera like this. You will be happy with this purchase.

Has everything you need... 32x zoom, internal mic and external mic input and HDMI out. However... make sure you use it in well-lit spaces; not the greatest with indoor lighting.

The Canon Vixia HF R800 is a good HD camcorder that takes clear images in good lighting. The 32X optical zoom is great. Grainy in low light but most camcorders act the same way unless you purchase a high end pricier model. I bought this on sale and it was worth the money. I also did not want to spend a lot on a HD camcorder because I rather put that money into the latest technology, a 4K camcorder.

This camera does exactly what I need it to do-- I'm doing live streaming and need a camcorder with HDMI out so I can produce productions with my laptop and a camera that has zoom and a great recording time 3hrs on the regular battery. You won't find a lower cost solution.

has really good image quality, better than I had expected in a sub 500 dollar camera. It adjusts very well to changing lighting conditions, the thing that really stands out for me is the optical image stabilization, it has been very effective for me. When I need some quick 1080 for posting I've been using this rather than one of my 4k cameras and I have been pleased with the results.

Used for shooting and hunting videos they work well after sunset in low light conditions. They stand up well to the sound and shock wave at close range to the camera (less than 12 inches). Since they can be powered with a standard 5v battery pack I can record up to 7 hours of video at a time. Touch screen is a great improvement over fiddling with menus on my old Sony. I have had this model for a year and was very happy with it. I purchased a second to finally replace the Sony

This camera is just what I needed. I teach golf & I am using the camera to show my students what they are doing right & what needs improvement. The camera is lightweight & compact. The video is crisp & clear. I definitely recommend this camera!

I bought this camera on a whim because I was using my phone to make videos, but kept running out of storage space. I like this one because you can plug in an external mike. The picture and sound quality are great, even without an external mike. I'm really glad I got this camera.
