Not as good as our previous Sony

I returned it when I was able to see the zoom and picture quality. Neither were as good as the Sony so I returned it. Also, the battery sticks way out the back of the camera compared to the Sony and is very unwieldy. I have no complaints on the functioning of the camcorder, it just does not have as good of a picture or zoom as my old Sony camcorder.

Good pictures but impossible to use outside

So save your money and just use your cellphone with a power mic.
