I was looking for a small camera for the number of time I will use it.

Haven’t had time to use it yet it will get its use in the near future

I purchased this camera for my husband as a birthday gift to record his YouTube videos. We hated how other cameras took a while to autofocus and this one does a great job! Only thing is the microphone isn't all that high quality so we may be purchasing an extra microphone in the near future. Has tons of features!

Two issues. At the higher resolution, recording stops and restarts after 34.5 min. Nothing on line or in the booklet tell that. The import is not very friendly.

I purchased the video camera to tape my granddaughters rowing competitions. The zoom lens was perfect to get those far away videos and the actions of the rowers.

I make a video every day. This camera is easy to use. I like that I can record directly to the memory card. The only drawback is a common Canon problems of the screen being hard to see in bright light.

I love the Cannon Vixia HF R82. I do not like the app for android to control the cam remotely. I has a lot of lag, but works. Would like to have the ability to control the cam with a windows laptop.

I bought this to replace a mini-dv tape camcorder but aside from the built-in 32GB and ability to fix a fullsize ds card the rest is mediocre at best. The startup manual furnished with the camcorder is useless! I had to shoot at a fairly well lite setting so I chose the Night setting,well video was nothing but noise! There is a Low light setting too but either way the camcorder does not seem to record any usuable video after sunset,even with light.

Considering the price value of this camcorder, I was expecting a lesser film quality. I was extremely pleased I was wrong. Definitely under estimated this camcorder.

i was looking for a camcorder to take on vacation, and I was looking at 3 or 4 of them, but this 1 got the best reviews and the price was good/

I purchased this Canon Camcorder for our family vacation in March 2017 and haven't had any problems till this day. Great all purpose camcorder.

Good camcoder. Works as expected. It might be pricey for what it is. But I did not get this in any deal.

Worked great until we took it on a moose hunt and dropped it in the raft and water got into it. Total loss :(

Only problem is glare on screen, very difficult to see in the sun
