On the plus side video quality is excellent. The camera feels well balanced and lighter than its actual weight. I really liked this unit BUT the lack of a viewfinder and so many options require using the touch screen to access detracted from what is otherwise a great camera. If the two negatives I mentioned don't bother you then this a a great camera.

I SHOT WITH IT FOR ONE WWEEK DOING WEDDING AND LOOKS VERY GOOD . BUT ONE BIG UPSET I CAN NOT GET ANY IMAGE OUT OF THE HDMI OUTPUT TO RECORD TO AN EXTERNAL RECORDER FOR BACK UP. AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU DO THIS FOR A LIVING. SO I RETURNED IT AND GOT ANOTHER CAMERA. BUT I REALLY LOVEDE THE CAMERA AND THE IMAGE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD. USING THE SD CARD ON THE CAMERA. HOPE CANON FIXES THIS.

There's still a lot I need to learn. My biggest problem is I don't have a 4K TV to fully appreciate the video quality

This camera was bought to film hunts. I’ve had it for about a month and still learning everything. So far it has been very simple to use and quality is excellent.
