I purchased this after Christmas. The second time I used this, the water started streaming out of the bottom, I tried to return this, for something else, but they refused.

The filter did not sit easily into it's place. Returned to another store and traded for a frying pan. Bought a different brand Mr Coffee works great for a little 5 upper.

Coffee brews fast but not strong or hot

I wanted a new coffee machine that brews faster and looks nicer. This machine delivers on those two points, but the coffee is kind of weak and not very hot. It takes about 5 minutes to brew one cup of coffee, which is a lot faster than my old machine that took almost 30 minutes. If you like weak, luke-warm coffee, this is probably okay for you. I'm really surprised at all the positive reviews for this product. It caused me to make a poor purchasing decision.
