Do not buy this. They made it nearly impossible to access the footage. Waste of money. Any other dash cam will be better.

Has a great picture day and night but they advertise that it has an app which it doesn’t also the cameras built in battery is garbage I could drive for over an hour and then once it gets disconnected from the power source it will show the battery is dead or show a question mark over the battery and it will turn on and then turn right back off.. not at all happy with this product

I decided to buy this one because of the 64gb card it can take, the WiFi, and parking mode. Overall it's a good camera. I keep it on 2k video and it's great. Leaving the motion detection and parking sensor at the defaults, it starts recording very quickly but does sometimes run the battery down while parked and it's a very windy day. The menu can be difficult to get to and navigate, especially with the motion detection turned on. One of the biggest issues I have is with my phone and connecting to the WiFi (when I get it turned on) because my Samsung S8 really doesn't want to connect it, never passes connecting. I use another, older, phone for that or just stick the card in my computer. I actually pulled a night time video the other night when my wife was driving and narrowly avoided hitting a young deer. I was very happy to with the quality. A deer that took out my Tacoma is the main reason I bought this so I'm happy to say it'd provide clear proof of the situation should another deer decide to cross so closely. It does have a very short battery life it it's not connected to external power though, that is a drawback too but isn't a concern with constant power.

Poor battery. Synchronization issue. Could not synchronize. Features like motion detection & parking mode have very poor response. Just a basic camera. Good video recording & picture.

Took only a few minutes reading the simple directions to get everything installed flawlessly the app works fantastic I can actually walk away from the vehicle quite a distance and still watch what's going on record videos and take single pictures this is a fantastic product

First: Camera is very nice. The video and picture is very nice in quality. Second: Camera is not user friendly. For something small, I would of expected it to be very easy to navigate the settings. Third: I turned the camera off and the camera will come on by itself. I went into the settings and turned the Motion sensor feature off and the camera still comes on by it self and even when I push the power button to turn it off, it comes on again...very frustrating! Fourth: Wifi is good, only if your able to connect to it.

Well first of all it was a bit confusing to set up. My first problem was it froze on me but I was like okay that’s fine just a minor malfunction. My next issue is it only records three minutes and will start another three minutes for each file which is very odd. So my major reason for this low rating is I had a close call. Luckily it was just a close call and my car is fine! But I get home thinking it saved it and nope it saved everything before I got to the place and after the incident. Literally EVERYTHING but the main part of the video I wanted. So I was pretty upset because god forbid it would have been a major one I would have been screwed. Also while having it plugged in it kept turning off after that I was annoyed and returned it for the Garmin 45 which is way better!!! So please do tons of reasearch before buying a dash cam. And stay away from this one. But again everyone has different experiences.

I got this camera back in October 2018, 4 months later the automatic recording stop working so i keep it not a big deal to me I can manage that problem, last month it will take 2 or 3 times to power up and have to hold down the button For 5-7 sec, not happy about it at this point Sunday April 7 2019 stop working it will not came on or do anything so I would not recommend this camera to anyone it is junk don’t waste your money is $160 I pay and is junk now so good luck, oh and customer service suck they can keep my money is not worth it taking to the customer ser at the end would not help you.

Need new suction cup mount. Contacted support they said they would contact the parts dept and they would contact me. Waited, waited nothing. Retried by email. Nothing back. Tried again, crickets. Called today and they told me they were waiting for the parts dept to contact them. Asked why they did not get back to me. They did not have an answer. After over a month I have no mount. It is to late to take it take it back to Best Buy. I would never buy another Car and Driver camera.
