This press has been used for the last few days and I’m new to French pressed coffee. Quality item, easy to use and it was basically free using my reward points. Don’t hesitate to buy one!

Man oh man! French Roast coffee is life changing!!

This French Press coffee maker has a nifty design for what is now essentially a utilitarian kitchen product. It's small and can easily be tucked away in a corner of the kitchen. It is useful for single-member households when you do not want to make more coffee than you can actually consume. How long it will last, may be doubted. It lacks the usual protective metal girding that one associates with french presses. The pricing is on the low side, and the cost of replacement perhaps less of a concern.

Second French Press I've owned and wasn't happy with the other. Very happy with this one as it produces incredibly tasty coffee with even basic, grocery store ground coffee. Results with freshly ground beans are even better. Awesome cup of coffee for just a little more effort than a drip coffeemaker. You'll need to devote slightly more time preparing your cup(s) and will have to do the usual French Press cleanup (ex. getting grounds out of maker) and of course there will be some bean residue at the bottom of your cup, but the coffee is very good. Highly recommend this press.

Very easy to use. Directions helpful but need to experiment with amount of coffee to brew to taste/strength. Makes about 5 cups if needed. Easy to handle. Does not get too hot to hold. Easy clean up. Some sediment does get into the coffee cup but not excessive. Would buy again.

First time I've ever used a French Press. My first cup of coffee in the morning must taste perfect. That said, I'm so glad I bought this little gem which is the right size and super easy to use. The coffee steeped perfectly and the taste blew me away. The stainless steel mesh filtered perfectly and easy to clean. Very happy.

This is a good size for 1-2 people wanting a French Press. The glass is thin, but has been durable in the time I purchased and have been using it (roughly 6 months). The coffee taste is stronger. The bamboo(?) wooden base is a nice touch. It’s easy to clean, too. I use warm water and soap.

The Caribou Coffee 5 Cup French Press is the best value of any french press on the market. It's been priced as low as $9.99 as a Deal of the Day! Compared to my Bodum or Starbucks French Presses it's almost as good, but they are both more than twice the price of a Caribou Coffee press. As with any French press it may take a one or two uses to get the grind size and timing dialed in to your likeness. After, its a perfect cup every time. Fresh, roasted coffee beans and filtered water (refrigerator dispensed water works fine as long as the filters are changed at proper intervals) are essential for best results. I also recommend using a hand operated ceramic burr grinder for best results when grinding coffee to produce grinds of a uniform size; bladed grinders are notorious for producing poorly ground coffee.

The French press is easy to use and clean and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It makes strong, full flavored coffee without a coffee machine. I can’t believe I waited this long to buy one.

So far I am liking this French press. I do like that with using glass it doesn’t leave any metal taste. And is easy to clean and to see when it is clean after drying. Beyond that it has a nice looking design. The only down side is that on one them, when I took the press apart to clean it and put it back on. It doesn’t seem to want to screw down all the way so the press is a little wobbly when I push down, but still works. That happened within the first week that I used it. Other than that I have enjoyed them.

Looking for a smooth cup of coffee for one or two? This press makes morning coffee easy. You have better control of how strong your coffee will be. And best of all, you don't need a filter.

This is a very good quality French Press coffee maker. The construction is of better quality than others that I have owned and is the perfect size to make that afternoon cup of coffee. Others seem to not contain the grinds while pouring, however this one is great. Also comes with a measuring spoon and a nice wooden holder. Very satisfied

This is a cuter french press than shown in the picture. The brown wooden piece at the bottom is a tray that is not attached to the coffee maker. The unit also comes with a nice, weighty metal scoop. The screen mechanism is well made. All in all, the device is easy and fun to use.

I've been using this French press for quite awhile now. It is durable and hasn't broken yet. I like that it is glass rather than plastic construction. The press is easy to clean. It is easy to use and makes good quality coffee. The wooden base is an added bonus.

Got this for $10 as deal of the day. Kinda would be disappointed if paid full price. Coffee must be drank immediately, glass does not hold temperature at all. Otherwise makes a great personal use cup and a half of coffee.

just wanted a cool french press that was bigger than my old one. love this brand and the line. love the convenient coaster it comes with. easy to use. easy to clean. solid product. gets my coffee made.

I have had this French press for a while now and it the first one I have ever purchased. If this one breaks , I will definitely buy another one. It is slightly more involved than using a percolating machine but the difference in flavor is quite noticeable. By using the instructions provided, you can easily make coffee more fine tuned to your liking. I would recommend, however, whole bean coffee and a bean grinder to grind the beans a little finer than pre ground Coffee. By far some of the best and most flavorful coffee I have made.

Use this daily. It makes great coffee, cleans up easily and comes with extra filters that make it easy to keep things fresh.
